You push statues or boxes around and it is god of war combat

First one was epic, felt like a long and awesome journey.. decent puzzles, platforming and action, high-ish difficulty also. Its only flaw was that some levels were too short, too linear. Still epic, cant wait for the sequel.

The only thing I didn't like was the whip combat - I know it's the staple of the series but there is simply no satisfaction in waving that thing through enemies. Sad

I loved the first one, don't know why so many people hated it. It had beautifully crafted levels, nice mix of combat/platform/puzzling, nice boss battles and was a decent challenge (anyone saying it's just a "button masher" clearly hasn't played it on high difficulty). Also it was quite long. Hope the second is just as good.

for me the worst thing was horrible framerate in 360 version. other than that great game. good gfx and nice level design, lengthy, challenging, interesting and huge bosses.

LoS was very underrated when it came out, but it's easily on par with god of war and even better in many aspects.

it its funny that one of them had one of the best and the other one of the worst framerates :lo:

Not long after that, LoS2 will be out as well -- and didn't Konami also say other platforms for the upcoming 3DS Lords of Shadow isn't out of the question? It would be nice to get the whole SAGA on the PC.

Hopefully they do a good job with the porting, from the sounds if it the performance is pretty good already but other than that it seems like a pretty straightforward port though it also includes the earlier DLC content. Smile

Brilliant news. I loved the first one on PS3. I hope it sells well on PC.

This game is a bit more linear than Darksiders but amazing gfx and gameplay makes up for it Smile

Can't wait Smile

I'd describe it as a mix of Darksiders (atmosphere, visual design) and God of War (linearity, combat).
More importantly, it is good and challenging. Way more challenging than Darksiders.

EDIT: I forgot the most important thing: The loading screens tell the background story narrated by Captain Jean-Juc Picard himself Awesome

As much as I don't consider LoS to be "Castlevania", it's not bad having the PC port of LoS1 releasing just shortly before the multiplatform version of LoS2. Might be worth picking up the full set -------------- as long as I can try and ignore the name and just play it as it is; a Darksiders meets God of War hack'em'up.

So Much Win

I waited for this for so long. Red Dead Redemption and this game were the only two console exclusives that I really enjoyed when I had my 360.

Me Gusta

Sorry but i'm not holding out much faith for this one (PC) or sequel. The ps3 ran at best around 24fps, sometimes down to 19fps. 1 hour later I returned the game.
