I really need to get into the habit of recording Xtracommunity I never have issues with though. It's the larger servers that tend to fail so miserably, because they run on cheap hardware that's not adequate to run whatever number of servers run on them. Join in on the war on LeoSatan

Well a bit, on my screen I shoot you to 10% health (edit2: whoops no hit indicator, so I did miss after all) then you kill me. On your screen I miss completely? and someone else shoots you to 10% and then death. But yeah that server was fine for me. edit: on my side you hit the floor 1 sec later, on your side we die almost at the same time. Found a nice simple and fast encoder (VidCoder) so got to start recording from spawn to death now, as upload size will stay manageable. Also up to 720p, those were 540p.

Oh noes that was the 0-0 round for me Driving in tank on the 2nd part of the video while one engineer was shooting at me (and garus) on tank from rocks. Of course he survived (think he got killed by another player). Usually when I do rock-peek-a-boom with engi on tank I get a shell in the face. Glitch solution is nice Lately I've been unable to knife mortar dudes, no matter how much I knife them they just twitch and continue shooting. Bullets do still kill, but surely I've knifed them before As for setting 85% quality MJPEG capture for me and then to default setting x264 on VidCoder. End result was 600megs of captured AVI to 100megs of MP4. About 10megs per second to 1megs per second. That was for 540p. Didn't get to test 720p as you weren't playing tonight. Well got to try some solo stuff just to see the size/quality. edit: Clearly he punches me. Looks like front knife, but that won't kill with one shot and it's credidted as sniper shot. Well you never could knife mortar people with that knife animation - you just have to bash them with it, but it should be doable. I haven't tried it though recently I record with MJPEG with 93% at 1080p30 right now. Encode via Handbrake at the moment... I get around 14 MB and 2 MB per second (12,5 GB for 15:15 of MJPG video and 149 MB for 72 seconds of x264). That's for 1080p and the encoded video looks great locally.

Above video is 720p60 and that program also uses hadbrake for encode. 85megs raw to 13.4megs encoded 8s video. But if I uploaded the avi straight to youtube processing was instant. Now upload obviously takes a lot less, but prosessingtime is massive and end result not so great (locally fine). edit: ah, was capping at 60frames, because source looked laggy @30, but once you encode it it's smooth. And youtube says "Video settings Compression Type: H.264 Frame Rate: 30 is preferred." so 30 it is. My secret? Using DXTory on low settings for gameplay, and edit and render in Vegas in .mp4 format in 20Mbit. THat's all I don't even record in 1080P, I just render in 1080P Intel i7 6700K, RTX470 Super, Kingston HyperX Fury 32GB

As in 20Mbit avarage bitrate?! (that .mkv was like 2). Earlier clips were constant quality 20, but no idea what that is for bitrates. 5min video was 80MB compressed, if you indeed encode 10 higher, 800MB upload is no go for my 1Mbit upload BW.

Constant 20Mbit bit rate. I have a 1MBit upload as well, so 800MB to upload for a video is normal for me. I just wait a bit longer Intel i7 6700K, RTX470 Super, Kingston HyperX Fury 32GB

I see I made a mistake btw, I render in WMV in Sony Vegas. I stopped rendering in .mp4 because it would make my video's darker on YouTube. That doesn't happen in WMV format. Intel i7 6700K, RTX470 Super, Kingston HyperX Fury 32GB
