I saw on the Corsair forums a lot of posts about the LED's. Oh well.. Probably not worth returning it at the moment for just the one LED being dimmer.
I was hoping it might have been a bug introduced in new firmware/software

No problems here, have had it on red for several months now, very bright.

Trust me to get a dodgy one. If more lights go or the red LED stops working altogether then it's going back.

Cheers, I will keep that in mind. Only just joined the other day though. But if I send it back within the next 3 months it will be going to Amazon for a refund/replacement, then within 6 months Amazon will have to replace it, after that it is manufacturers warranty.

I thought it was a bit odd that my GTX580 came with 2 bridges, so I didn't check and just put them both on  |
Heh, i did the same stupid mistake back then with my dual HD3870, first mistake i made was putting both bridges on there. 
Even tho it wasn't needed, it's not giving any disadvantage anyway
