Something that should be noted here is that Corsair will replace your PC parts if you get a leak and damage them. I don't know how often custom water cooling solutions leak though.

In terms of the net that I know of, it happened once, and it was some SERIOUS money that got ruined and yes, corsair replaced it ALL Smile He was on OCN

for a bit cheaper.

I can't fit such a huge radiator in my case, that's why I'm setting my sight on the H80i or the Kraken.
Otherwise that looks around the price-range I'd be interested in buying.

you can't fit a slim 240 radiator in your case??? what is it, from the early 2000's? lol What case do you have.

After a huge fight with them, and only thing that broke was his GPU and they offered him 200€ first but replaced it in the end after a huge fight.

And yeah, a slim 240 Rad should fit in nearly any case, if you don't have 2 fan slots next to eachother then just cut it up to make another one.
Just stay out of the shit that they call "water cooling" (closed loop stuff).

Fractal Desing Define XL R1 Surprised

I would have to drill holes at the top which I don't want to do since I'll prolly just do a TC then. Sad

I don't think there's enough room to mount the rad and then tap fans on it. Sad

Slim rad is.. Slim.
It's like as thick as your thumb lol, fits anywhere

There will be room, you will figure something out if it is a bit tight Wink

That kit > any closed loop shit.

Yeah, h80i is still not doing anything impressive.
It gets me cooler temps than the stock cooler.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

I get idle temps of 35-40 with a 1.5Ghz overclock.. I can live with that. The load temps get a little on the high side but the 2600 can take them (from what I've read).

As a watercooler, you'll find whatever way you can to make that shit fit.

At most all you'll have to do is drill a couple holes leading out the back of the case and run an external radiator. The kit comes with mounting brackets so you could put that 240 or 360 on that back fan slot on the outside and just let it dangle down.

Since when do idle temps matter lol

I ran my 2500K at 5.1GHz with my Thermalright TrueSpirit :l
Cost me 23€ I think + took the case fan I got with my back-then case and slabbed it on the cooler, so I guess total price would be ~35€ if you go P/P, which you always should.

Now I don't break ~63C in Prime on my 3570K with my custom loop.
