Poor England
I'm following the Italian team which is doing surprisingly well (unlike the grown ups who are playing bad). Some good talents in this competition, as usual

keddl wrote: | Yeah, same here. This Norwegian U-21 is actually enjoyable to watch, which stands in contrast to the regular team. The dutch are looking sharp, while Spain youngsters does exactly as the grownups do. Getting by the group stages with 1-0's late in the games before they end up winning the whole thing in the end |
Arrgh I hope not...I'm getting real tired of them Spaniards . I will definitely root for the underdog(s), whoever they will be, maybe Norway? That would be a great breath of fresh air

Actually watched NL vs RU yesterday and Ola John (among a few others) is pretty darn good. Works hard and somehow he was in the right spot a lot yesterday

Wow England lost even to us...
Gaining 4 points in this kind of tournament is really not bad for us, especially when considering that we got a 2:2 tie with Norway with a goal they've scored in the last minute.

So, semi finals on saturday
Italy - Netherlands
Spain - Norway
Spain showed their class today with 3-0 against Netherlands and 5-0 in the group total.
I don't quite get why Netherlands changed the whole team before this match though. They needed only one point to get Norway in the semi's, which on paper is a lot better than meeting Italy.
This tournament is entertaining as long as you ignore some of the blatant defensive howlers that you get in every game so far. Defensive concentration is based on experience I guess

We've been saved by the trusty ugly catenaccio..as always . I'm sorry for Norway, there was nothing to do really, the Spanish team is just too strong for everybody. The final is probably going to be another walk in the park for them, just like last year :>

Yeah, aside from the mistakes that was inevitable . They have so much quality with Isco, Thiago, Illarramendi, all the other barcaboys and an experienced GK like De Gea.
I don't know if things would have gone differently with El Shaarawy, Balotelli and De Sciglio (who are all playing the Confederations Cup) but still, our midfield and defense were incredibly weak and inexperienced if compared to them Spaniards', especially the latter.
