Since they made it so vids only cache a certain amount, I get a lot more pauses in vids. I can't even pause them to make it buffer since it will only buffer a tiny amount.

like it was said google tests HTML 5 and as of now all they services are slow
your put automatically in HTML 5 trail and your YT will lag , Google search will lag , G-mail will lag etc..
just turn it off YT will speed up but not other services that are now lagging |

They are starting to charge for subscriptions now to watch certain channels, between 1 and 5 dollars per mnth. this starts in the spring I think.

I dont even log into tube not even google linked etc nada, and yet the main vid at the top is always to do with fucking football for me be it fifa or real world..
What gives?

but what the fuck is still up with their web design? It's fucking horrible and I can't even find my inbox with ease. I am forced to join Youtube acct with Google plus even if I didn't have one it made one for me... WTF Youtube? I realize it's free and their site and bla bla but when their 2006 design was much better than this 2013 shit... someone ought to get fired.

been like that for weeks now for me.... and i never had youtube performance issues before in all those years.
Videos often never start , i cant select certain quality version after that and impossible to use the seek function....

Yup, half the time the videos don't even start - just a black screen at 00:00. When they DO start, you often can't skip forward or back without them freezing. Refreshing the page sometimes helps though.

Had the same thing yesterday with half the videos not even starting for minutes. The same videos seemed to work fine when using Chromes though (use FF otherwise).

It's unusually slow for me too. I can load 360p videos just fine, but now, I cannot even do that! :\

So it's not my crappy internet then, I feel almost relieved now  . I spent 10 minutes F5ing a video since it wouldn't start, also reinstalled flash, tried html5 but nothing. Oh well, hope these lazy asses sort everything out..you had only one job youtube employees
