how does something feel "cheap"? all it has to do is not to fall out of my hand while being light. if its cheaper than alternatives thats even better.

Cheap and plastic to be correct.Hard to explain that but it's just the feeling when you hold the phone and it seems wrong. Like some of these Chinese knock-off toys I had as a child.

The plastic Samsung uses feels like something Fisher Price uses.

There are different grades of plastic, harder to explain but if you work in a plastics factory, you'd be amazed.

Like your xbox controller, it uses a form of ABS plastic. Depending on the grade of it, it can be as strong as steel.

The stuff Samsung uses is extremely cheap and and has a shit molding process. They don't compact enough plastic into the mold to strengthen it, with the reason that they probably don't want there to be any excess (flash) that has to be trimmed and possibly ruining the edges of the casing.

Thanks for the input guys. I thought about it and I decided to go for a HTC One. I managed to get it for a good price and after testing both out in a store the HTC One felt better to me. Appreciate all the help though:)
