obviously i am not washing them with tab water. Not because that would be actually dangerous (doubtful, tab water is pretty "clean"), but because it makes the lenses "blurry/milky" (guess from the lime in the water).
Obviously i am using the sterile water you can buy for that purpose.
However i do NOT use the stuff where you put the lenses in over night (that acid like stuff). I found out, that that crap destroys the lenses very quickly and forces you to change them a lot more often. I'm wearing monthly lenses and i wear them for like 3 months at a time, all the time. I just take them out in the morning (or when i get dry eyes during the day) and rinse them with the sterile water stuff.
Doing this for over 3-4 years now (wearing contacts for over 8 years) and never ever had the slightest issue what-so-ever.
