Well, I thought 'Esc' was a more commonly used key for accessing the main menu, I guess KB numbers were leading way ahead into that category...

sucks that you have to use the standard controls awsd in player selection menu even though i have mapped the arrow keys for primary movement keys..

Something's messed up there. I can move freely with arrow keys on player selection screen.

the easiest configuration to play a fighting game with a keyboard is wsad for movement, q grab, u i high punch low punch, j k are the shoulder buttens and n m are high kick low kic. been playing with this combination since mk 4

i was running into the same shit like you until someone told me about it whenever i was looking to change the charas' clothing (Seriously MK9 crew...Y U NO--...?)

Hey guys!
Is it just me, or stringing combos together on keyboard is really close to impossible? I only manage 5-6 hits max, and after that, it's just damn hard to keep it going. I have never played on a gamepad, especially on PC, maybe it's time to get one if I'm into fighting games?

well combos 5-6+ are supposed to be hard, and you need to practice it alot. if that wouldnt be the case then we all would be pr0 fighting games players lol.

Yep I guessed that, it's just that I never really played on a gamepad, so I don't really know if it's more convenient and a bit easier to manage than mashing the keyboard buttons.
