Nope, they feel a lot more natural on the keyboard for me. I started playing the game with the gamepad and I was actually doing better (which was still pretty terrible since I'm not really into this kind of games), but it just didn't feel right. I didn't feel like I was learning how to play on the gamepad, but instead I felt like I was winning simply because I was lucky and I did some crazy random attacks. Playing on the keyboard, I feel like I'm slowly learning how to play and do the attacks I want when I want, even though I'm loosing much more at the moment. I do hope I manage to get into this properly as I find the game quite cool, unlike other games of this type.

well combos 5-6+ are supposed to be hard, and you need to practice it alot. if that wouldnt be the case then we all would be pr0 fighting games players lol.

Yep I guessed that, it's just that I never really played on a gamepad, so I don't really know if it's more convenient and a bit easier to manage than mashing the keyboard buttons.

for me its WAY faster on keyboard, pulling of special movements, specially with left/right + key kombination is way easier. as for combos well they need practice, i press the key almost to fast, the timing is important.

btw whats your steam id? where are you from, europe/states/other?

That's a good point, I doubt it will be that hard to port over the Boss Mods from PS3. As far as I know, they're just coalesced.bin edits anyhow.

There were some xxx replacements of the UI as well (to add boss loading screen art).

Ah. They might be slightly more difficult then, like the image formats on the 360 being incompatible. Still, I really don't think it will take long before someone does it Smile

Is there any way to limit the 360 dpad to 4 directions via some of the controller emulation thingies?

Why would you want that? If you limit it to 4-way then you wouldn't be able to jump forward or back.

Believe me matey, I know your pain Sad I used to play SF4 online on the 360 back when it came out --- using the 360 controller. Let your mind try and wrap itself around THAT horror Sad Why not try practising with the keyboard? There are no (or VERY few...) sweep/slide motion attacks, so the arrow keys (or WSAD) would be a workable alternative if you practise.

Even with a controller attached, I still prefer to play OMF2097 on a keyboard Very Happy

MP is already full with bastards playing with Scorpion or Sub Zero and doing the same combos over and over again. Played my first and last 10 rounds there.

So instead of proving how lame they are by using characters and tactics that can counter their repetitive patterns, you QQ here. They win.

Just tried it on my PC, damn talking about nice difference graphically compared to PS3 version Very Happy. PS3 resolution is just so horrible, and slowdowns too. Cinematics looks like shit, but in motion its awesome @ 1440p. Pretty decent port, now i can finally play this how itยดs should be Smile

Been practicing with two characters, I've written down their combos and I've improved a bit, but certain combos/moves refuse to come out, or come out at random.

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
