I hope they rework the GAME and give it 2 more years or so

hmm kinda funny, just browsing thru this topic cant help but notice if someone talks about how much the game will rule everybodys like 'hell yeah it'll rule, lets all circlejerk about how much F.E.A.R. r0x0rs!' but if it's negative, well they say 'you can't know that, it's not out yet, so stfu!' so, im wondering, is there some kinda psychic force telling ppl its good or how do you explain this? cuz i know its gotta be more than just the tons and tons of hype this games been getting, because well we all know hype is a bad thing right? anyways sorry ignore this, i just think about pointless things too much i guess.

Nah just stating my opinion based on the demo and screenshots/videos of several different levels. Just like people saying "FEAR ROCKS" is basing their opinion on plain hype and/or the demo/screenshots/videos..
I could be wrong, but i very much doubt that they've only shown the most uninspiring parts from the game, usualy it's the other way around. I'm sure the doom3-fans will love it though (people who already has pretty low standards when it comes to orginality and level design).

No but in normal ego shooter like Far Cry, Doom, Fear and much else ya have maps and shoot each other and e.g. i like CSS, but HL2 DM is fucking shit....Or UT2004 that was a fucking nice MP game or BF2 ^^
Fear is a short action game and i think i will defenetly not buy it! A good buygame whould be SS2 because its fucking much fun and if i couldnt play it on lan with any reason, i whould fucking buy it  |
