my comp is great and i just installed serive pack 2 and i have xp pro but now when ever i run winamp my comp restarts same for when i install it what shoud i do any one has any idea?

Ur PC got serious problem. Do spyware check, anti-virus check, do trojan check, do worm check, do porn check, do ........ check. Or just reformat your PC and install XP Pro again. Seriously, your PC got issue or that winamp thing you install wasn't winamp but some virus shet.

If you hate it, ignore it.

To be honest, the advice mag2005 is giving is utter crap. It could be a number of things. Instead of instantly jumping to the virus-spyware-worm-format conclusions what i'd suggest in a situation like this is to reinstall the program (winamp). After that check if audio is working correctly in other applications as well as games. If that doesnt work check audio-drivers, then check hardware so there arent anything interfering with the soundcard.

All im saying is that it's kind of STUPID to instantly do the whole format shit.
