That looks brilliant! Strider was a nails hard game back when it came out and I'm so glad to see that they're sticking to the 2D style that's how you do remakes! Take the originals, tidy them up a bit and give them a lick of paint, don't turn them into different genre games
closed thing to Shadow complex PS3,PS4,,xbone and PC gamers will get,hopefully it can be Moded to be more similar to shadow complex,like Sonc generation been moded to be more like Sonic unleased.

Just talking about this game at my 20 year high school reunion this weekend. One of my good friends and myself rented this on the NES and stayed up all night trying to beat it. Good times!
Looks really fun but I think there's too much going on at once, the screen looks a mess, especially with the incredibly dark corners, the constant sparks and particles combine combined with the smoke and explosions all over the place.

Well, you know exactly why that is. I mean, we don't want today's gamers fall asleep, do we? Short attention span and stuff
Hah, yup. Just take a look at the new Flashback for the ultimate example... same game as the original, just jazzed up with MOAR explosions and MOAR shooting and MOAR action. It's not like the original game was an action-less dullfest either, but nope.. the remake needed MOAR.
