this is a software hack??
dont i need some kind of gadget?

soo there is a tutorial for this?

yes put it on usb stick and install. but it requires that your ps3 is already on cfw!

Finally catching up with the new progressions over the last six months, the latest ReACT PSN is phenomenal. Install package, copy RAP/EDAT to exdata, launch ReACT, done. I've not had a single game that hasn't unlocked yet, thanks to an exdata folder with over 3200 RAPs and EDATs Very Happy .... sadly I didn't keep a lot of the original EBOOTs for PSN titles, I just overwrote with the "cracked" EBOOTs instead, which leaves me with the hilariously unenviable task of resigning over a hundred PSN EBOOTs from 3.55 to 4.xx. It would probably be faster to just download the packages from Sony and just use ReACT, heh.

Where did you get those rap files? I recall a program for downloading both pkg and rap files but can't remember the name. Confused

That program is likely "PSN stuff" and it's awesome, up to 1.81 now. As for the RAP collection? I really don't remember, probably PS3 Crunch a while back, but I've been adding to the collection with my own downloads as well; right now I have 3345 files Very Happy PSN Stuff usually offers RAP downloads but lately it seems to prefer that you use the "hold O when loading ReACT" method, so if you absolutely want RAP/EDAT files, just snag them from PS3Repack. Gambaa's fantastic ReACT thread has the lot.

Yeah, 20 posts iirc and no "thanks" spam, but it's not hard to hit the requirement. There's always something to natter about with people Smile Check your PM, I'll send you my 3200+ RAP collection. Just drop 'em into an exdata folder on a USB stick, install ReACT PSN 2.26, create a new user called "aa" and finally run ReACT. If you don't press any button during initial load it will read the exdata folder and convert all the RAPs to RIFs, enabling system-wide use of "most" downloaded games. It will take a bitch-ass long time though, since it's processing over 3000 entries. Once done this will rename the aa user to "ReACT PSN xxxxRIF/xxxxEDAT" where xxxx is the number of processed RAP and EDAT files Smile

There are other games that don't use the exdata RAPs/EDATs and those you "unlock" by running ReACT whilst holding O. For the majority though, simply stuffing RAP/EDAT files into exdata and loading ReACT is fine Smile Just remember to rename the user back to aa each time you try to add new RAP/EDAT files.

Also, you can easily spot the "holding O games" : they have a C00 folder in their folder, or you can just press TRIANGLE on the demo on the XMB, and see if you have the Purchase option directly from XMB.

If you do it's C00, thus a "holding O game".

Oh and once ReACT has processed the RAPs, it will crash and your PS3 will reboot. Don't worry, it's completely normal - just press O to cancel the two error messages/requests that come up on reboot Smile You won't have to select the ReACT profile or launch it, as long as the profile is there the games will continue to work Smile

Very easy to "level up" as Sabin says, just join in one of the threads were people are posting their favourite movies/games/actors/books whatever. I got up to the required level by posting gaming "hot deals" I found on other websites. I think they limit you per day during the first however many posts, but it's worth it in the end!

Rogero CFW4.46 v1.01

ReactPSN patch to work offline without the need to log into PSN at all.
noBD/noBT patches to allow installation on consoles with broken BluRay Drive or Bluetooth board.
This CFW can be installed fine from XMB Update over OFW3.55 or any CFW ver: 3.55/4.21/4.30/4.40/4.41
HDD can be swapped/changed and the CFW will re-install without any problem.
Patched LV1 to disable LV2 Protection.
Patched LV1 to add peek/poke support.
Patched LV1 Core OS Hash Check (to prevent Bricking on non-dehashed downgraded consoles)
Patched LV2 to add peek/poke support.
QA Flag enabled by default to allow for easier downgrading using Recovery Menu.
RSOD screen bypass patch for RSOD machines (it won’t fix the RSOD but allows the PS3 to boot fine into XMB)
PSN/SEN access is available but it’s not recommended.
It can run games signed with Keys up to version 4.41 without any Eboot/Sprx patching needed.
The CFW can be used directly for Downgrading with Hardware flashers using the new tool PS3 Nor and Nand Auto Patcher v0.05

hmm i updated but...there is no new compatible multiman version out yet, so my multimans bd emulator is deactivated Neutral

i would advise against updating till the new mm is out, unless you like stuff like iris Razz

I thought Multiman's latest 4.46.01 version was compatible with 4.46CFWs?

well as long as you can play everything with your rebug, there is no need to switch imo. only reason i am updating to newest rogero is because its just a button press away basically.
if it was any more effort than that, i would wait till the one game that really needs the newest version to run.

I'd rather be on the leading edge where there's no signing/modifying that needs to be done. Games with signed for 4.30+ will need to be modified by Multiman on Rebug 4.30, whereas they'll load natively on Rogero 4.4x+ It's just a matter of convenience without worry.
