I don't have as much time as i used to have playing games unfortunately. I have learn't a little in Kerbal. Do you think i should stay away from Mechjeb and learn the basics, esp getting into orbit and flying to the moon without using mechjeb. Or is it a steep long learning curve to do everything manually?
Mechjeb is handy in the way it gives you useful info on screen like apoapsis, etc.
Without Mechjeb you have to switch back and forth flight/map view and mouse over the moving AP point to have such info, which greatly complicates manual flying.
So I would advise you to use Mechjeb "orbit info screen" but to stay away from autopilots for now and learn the basics manually first.
The deltaV windows is also really handy when building rockets and at launch to anticipate staging. When it tells you your rocket have a TW greater than 1.2 and have Dv of 4000+ m/s, your rocket design should be able to go for a nice low orbit around Kerbin.

50 minutes remaining -40% off.
Do you want à 75-93% off for a game which isn't even released yet ?
for me its more.. well i dont wanna pay more than a tenner for ANY game really if its digital and certainly if its a unfinished one. altho i do like the game
I am having trouble getting a precise orbit. I get my 45' angle and head towards 70,000 (after reaching the right 10km). I then stop the engines at around 70,000- 80,000 meters then coast to the apoapsis.
Now just before i reach the apoapsis i level of so the horizon is level on the nav ball and then hit full burn at the apoapsis. Now this is where my apoapsis raises rapidly and i end up with am egg shaped orbit. High apoapsis and a periapsis of around 70,000!!

What am i doing wrong?
Wait you full burn pointing where exactly? If you full burn aiming at the direction you are going (sorry for the lack of technical term) on your apoapsis then your periapsis should rise much faster than your apoapsis and thus you will get your circular orbit, assuming you execute and cut your engine at the right time.
I make a 45 degree turn towards the East. Then wait for the apoapasis then keeping East direction I lower my nose to the horizon and then burn . That's when it rises even higher.

The word you're looking for is "prograde". There are two green symbols on the horizon-indicator. The emptyi circle is your heading (prograde, burn this way to gain more speed), the one with the X in it is the opposite direction (retrograde, burn this way to lose speed). When you reach ApA you have to burn towards the empty circle (prograde).
Also, keep in mind that to have a completely circular orbit, you will very rarely do it in one go. Go to ApA, burn prograde to bring up the PeA above the atmosphere. When the ApA slid too far, wait to reach it again, and burn whichever direction you need to bring the opposite side of the orbit closer to the same height, rinse and repeat. Doing perfect orbits is a bit of a busy work, with ApA and PeA sliding all over the place. Science bitches, it's harsh.
Thanks zmed I will take a look tomorrow. I think I know where I'm going wrong .as I reach the ApA I have just been lowering the nose down level with horizon and burning. So I should be looking for the empty circle as my burn pointer?

Yes. That's the direction you need to burn to gain orbital speed. You are basically trying to go so fast sideways, that as you fall, you constantly miss the ground.
Since the prograde indicator (empty circle) is the current heading, if you burn that way, you'll also gain speed. When you reach ApA, the indicator will be right on the horizon. Burning that time will give you more sideways speed and doing it enough, the Periapsis will pop out of the ground on the other side of Kerbin and when tat reaches a high enough altitude that is no longer inside the atmosphere, you have a stable orbit. After that you can worry about circularizing.

You just have to learn to read the navball and the map.
such fucked up flight surfaces on that biplane, lol's thing would never fly like that. That plane should be tip stalling with that wing load and ailerons in the wrong place and so small.
@krell1983 Well done.
With their 44th Moon landing anniversary, they made me do a quick Mun sortie.
I fucked up the landing a bit and now I think I have not enough fuel to reach a stable Mun low orbit to rendezvous with the tow ship in order to go back home.
Of course I use tons of mods including a crew life support one, so time is counted and I must find a "quick" solution to rescue my 2 poor Kerbals.
Anyway if 0.21 comes by the time these 2 Kerbals will just stay there
Cause I will start from scratch again.
