and to add more crap MGS 1 and its VR missions are NOT on those DISCS ....
as of now i ONLY SEE they used left over copies of HD edition BDs and MGS4 BDS added a voucher for PSN stuff ... go buy IT AGAIN BITCHES... for the fancy BOX ART :face palm:

The legacy collection is supposed to be a collection for those who have not played MGS games before so they can before MGS V is released.
MG, MG2 ,MGS1, 2, 3, 4, Peace Walker are canon. They are made by Hideo Kojima. Rising, Portable Ops, card games, Twin Snakes had nothing to do with Hideo Kojima so he chooses not to acknowledge their existence.
Yes the HD collections have cut content (usually just the "funny" stuff which doesnt matter) but that's because they wanted only to redo the important stuff in the HD collection. It's a extremely good HD remake by the way, if you want the extra crap go and buy the original versions.
This legacy collection is an incredible deal for it's price, there is a fuck tonne of hours in that collection and they're all very high quality games. It's the perfect little collection for someone who wants to get into MGS V.
why exactly are people excited about this? afaik this doesn't include any new and improved game version, all games in this collection are already already available on ps3 (and some on 360)
Fuck it! Downloaded Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD PSN version. I'll probably skip Sons of Liberty and move straight to Guns of Patriots, which I need to download again (HDD crashed).
