Forecast says 33, 35, 36 c for the end of this week/next week. August is going to be one hot bitch. Sad

Yup, it will be hell on earth in a few days. It's a disgrace..I'm already the least productive guy in the universe under mild temps, let alone when there are 30+ degrees inside the office (because the AC is obviously broken xD) and nearly 40 outside. Bad time ahead.

I'm already stocking fresh beverages for the upcoming weeks. Let's hope it will be short and painless Laughing

20°C and it's 5am. Hopefully there will be a thunderstorm today. Cools the air and I just love the smell after rain on a hot day.

I had to do it Crying or Very sad...my room is so hot these days that I had to go from 4.3Ghz to 4, while also setting the default fan speed of my 570 to 55% because I was getting artifacts everywhere.

Now when I play games like Crysis 3, it's like having Boeing 747 inside my case. Laughing

Eugh, the desktop weather widget predicts 40C for tomorrow. Good thing my job interview is in the morning. I would melt into the seat of the car. Sure, I live in the "sunniest city" in Hungary, but still. 40 fucking C.

Intel or AMD? with Intel you are safe around 80C for CPU and 90C for cores... ofc it depends on model, check intel kb site

just run Real Temp, it should have proper TJ MAX settings, and you will see if you are safe or not... CPU will start throttle anyway to cool down itself... so no problem...

also keep in mind these cpu are built to run 24/7 at insane temperatures.

meanwhile I am melting at 32C in my room (34 amb. temp.)

Intel. I know about the max but higher temps decrease chip longetivity so I prefer it not going over 60

@ixigia I fixed it by limiting fps to 45, was too lazy to downclock

I live in bricks house too and it's fine as long as it remains 35C or under outside. Any hotter and my floor turns into a sauna

Brick is a TERRIBLE insulator Laughing. Wood is actually much better, plus wood homes have additional fiberglass insulation.
