its a 3D game???
judging by the screens it looks like 2D
My System:
CPU : AMD "Barton" 2500+.
Memory : 768MB DDR PC2100.
GFX : Nvidia 6600GT DDR3 128MB , AGPx8
M\B: Gigabyte GA-7VT600P-RZ MotherBoard

Yes, it's a 3D game. Therefore it wouldn't be as large as Myst 4 which was completely prerendered (compare Uru, which came on 1 CD). So it could be the real game, only apparently it hasn't got the right crack or something.

btw, ubisoft does not use securom, they use safedisc or starforce.
probably they (induct) just picked the demo executable and thought it could work as a cracked exe and released the game.
dunno if it's safedisc or starforce game. in the first case a minimage should work fine, in the second case this release is completely useless

but game runs normal

nope, this is not tages protection. wilding can u please check the protection the game has? i remember the demo was unprotected so it may be the replica of still life release.

I wanna ask a question.
Why the fuck release something with a bad crack?
Like, if I were releasing games, I'd check the crack (atleast) to make sure it worked...and I'd ask the same of the ppl in my group....why bother releasing something that doesnt fuckin work and makes u look stupid?
Seriously, i can download a demo, buy the full version then rip it and then copy the demo exe over...no skill involved there, besides knowing how to make a clone ya know?

not even need to make a clone as long as the demo executable works like a cracked exe.
confirm that game at least starts, dunno if it crashes after the demo section or something, gonna check.
by now is 100% working, though nuked

I remember playing the last Myst and sitting there feeling like I was so fucking stupid. The older releases made me feel pretty smart because I was able to make my way through them. I have a funny feeling this installment will make me think I'm border line retarded. I mean like have to wear a freaking helmet retarded.

I dunno, when i was younger, I could get through some hard ass puzzle/mystery games...the older i get, the more I think whats the point? lol I like to have fun...not sit staring at some fuckin brainteaser for hours on end...although, I will give this a try noine the less |
