I wouldn't be getting your hopes up that TOR's failure, perceived or otherwise, will lead to a proper single player KOTOR RPG. I would think the prospect of that is even less likely now than it was before.

I'm very surprised EA didn't buy it and point it at the TOR site. I'm half-tempted to register it myself for the delicious trolling potential, but the thought of LF/Disney lawyers raping me to death is disconcerting....
Obsidian getting another crack at Kotor was never a realistic option anyway. But here's something to consider. Possibly it may be good or even worse news, depending on your outlook (I suspect the latter for most of you). It seems pretty clear that the former Mass Effect team at Bioware Edmonton is working on a Star Wars game (ME4 having been palmed off to the Montreal studio). Could this be a third single player Kotor? I highly doubt it to be honest, given TOR, but you'd expect it to be some sort of RPG at least. Mass Effect with lightsabers and wookiees?
