Brings a lot of memories. Back then it was possible to rent NES games from local 'R-Kioski' (A tiny convenience store). I think I was on 1st or 2nd grade back then... or not even in school yet. We had this game rented and me and my sister had set alarms at 3:30 or something in the morning to get up and play this before school/daycare.

Darkwing Duck

That was a fucking quality game as well.

I've watched the trailer for this again and it looks absolutely fantastic. As long as they give me the opportunity to play the game as-was (and if that means selecting a higher difficulty, that's all good), I want this. Bad.

And then redo Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers...heck, redo all my NES classics like this and I'll buy each and every one of them Poker Face

Confirmed for PC: http://www.capcom-unity.com/xantista/blog/2013/06/04/ducktales-remastered-confirmed-for-pc

Scrooge and the gang are headed to Steam, Origin and other PC download destinations this summer

Woo-hoo! You guys demanded it, so we’re unbelievably happy to announce that your most requested platform will indeed be receiving DuckTales Remastered! Yep, Capcom’s heartwarming collaboration with Disney and WayForward will definitely be pogoing onto hard drives everywhere via Steam, Origin, Impulse, GamersGate, Green Man Gaming and numerous other places PC gamers download their wares.

The game is similarly priced at $14.99 and should launch within or around same window as the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U versions.
We should have more DuckTales splendor to show ya leading up to E3, including the reveal of an all-new remastered level, very soon (And I mean VERY SOON!) Man, with Rey’s recent unveiling of DuckTales' free XBL avatar shirts, it looks like I’m purchasing at least two versions of the game. Gotta have mah Steam version!

Yup! Looks nice to me, close enough to the original but with a lick of paint Smile The only way to "remake" a game in my opinion.

I don't envy the guy that is remixing "The Moon" ... those are some big shoes to fill and there are going to be plenty of really, really angry fans if he gets it wrong Very Happy

I just realized both Uncle Stan and Scrooge are money lovers and both from Disney, huh. Despite 20 years timespan - nothing changed much.

I needn't have worried Very Happy The composer for Ducktales Remastered is none other that Jake Kaufman, better known by his remix handle "Virt", and not only has he composed some amazing tracks for OCRemix and dozens of games prior... but he also composed the entire soundtrack for the recently released, and phenomenally awesome, Double Dragon Neon. His remixes are usually free as well!

Ducktales is in good hands! So Much Win Skip to 3:03 to hear Jake's rendition of "The Moon" --- and it sounds AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWESOME! Very Happy

Given the 20% discount and if you can get someone from Yankland to buy for you, I'd say GMG here and the 20% voucher: GMG20-4B9NY-L4FEN

There's a separate RU/CIS version in the SteamDB but I don't know if it's region/IP locked, if it's not locked then that's the best choice; €6.60 instead of the €13.99 from Steam/GMG (€11.19 with the -20% voucher on GMG)

Not bad at all! Current MV has the keys at €1.61 and that's €9.66 Very Happy Definitely the best place if the RU/CIS version ends up locked.

Yeah, but if the current RU/CIS is the same package id *and tradable* you can buy it now, as your copy will not end up being locked. I did notice that the RU version has a different package id and the store page also mentiones RU/CIS version (Pre-Purchase DuckTales Remastered RU/CIS). In that case, I'd rather choose the normal one.
