You already have the answer to this question. Daniele (the french) said "the others" were coming for the "boy",she thought the boy was Kate's baby but finally it was Walt. Since the 'pirates' kidnapped Walt, we can legetimalty think they are "the others".
Now who these peoples are really is another question.  |
haha, thats what i mean tho. Ok, the other's are the pirates, but what do they want with a kid?
And I dunno, there is this whole paranormal feel to things...I think there is some kinda demon, witch, ghost, etc etc force behind shit...unless the pirates turn out to be kiddie porn makers or slave traders....which would fuckin suck.... |

the first season was great ... but it did piss me off a bit.. you would just start getting to a interesting bit were you think something major will be revealed , and it ends .. then next episode it goes off on something else leaving you thinking hmmm!! but i suppose they had to do that or there would only be 1 season in it if they revealed everything quickly.

I have a theory, Desmond isn't the one quarantined, it's the survivors of the "crash". Think about it, the writing "QUARANTINE" was imprinted on the inside of the hatch, meaning that whatever was on the other side of it was dangerous in some way, and perhaps the injections he was taking was some kind of blocker to prevent him getting sick.

Just watched the first episode of the 2nd season and now I gotta wait a goddamn week! I would kill for the whole 2nd season on DVD right now lol

Yeah that's kinda wrong cause Locke is already in the hatch. I think Wednesday's episode is gonna be mainly about the people that were on the raft.

Is this show REALLY that good? I mean, if it is I might marathon it. I saw it got in the top 25 all time best science fiction shows or something, at like 7, battlestar galactica got number 2. Is it on par? I've never watched it. I understand its a completely different type of show, but in terms of quality is it the same?

Well, at first glance I didnt like this show...but i watched a few episodes and now Im hooked....
way better than galactica....but im no fan of battlestar so u should just watch a few shows and decide for urself 
LEAFS ALL THE WAY!!!! We better win the fuckin Cup this year....we are so long over due...

Beyond overdue. If we stay healthy we're a contender. If we get injured, like O'neal did, but we don't get so lucky, may as well kiss it goodbye. Also, I hope we get a line of Wellwood, Steen and Stajan 
But if you watched Galactica, it's a nicely done show, with a solid visual style and a very high production value. Does Lost have a high end sort of production value feel to it? Is it nice looking? I'm downloading the first few episodes right now, going to check it out, but I'm still curious as to your opinion.

Lost is in a different league to Battlestar. Much more professional in every way. The CGI that is used is a little jarring but it's only one or two occasions and to be fair it's obviously much more difficult under the circumstances.
Lost is like most American productions in that it is solid. Battlestar is kind of a lesser mortal in comparison as far as I'm concerned, I love the show but it's never had that level of quality. ever.
Also; believe the hype. I didn't. My whole family were watching it religiously and I just didn't care, but I decided to download it for them and watched it casually myself. I'm hooked is an understatement.
