yea its pretty much the best sandbox/ open world game ever, better than any gta so far, well 5 has a good chance though.

the game has something that open world games usually lack: atmosphere, and loads of it.

Is the difference between the PS3 and Xbox version big enough to loan an Xbox from someone? I'd have to buy the game used for five bucks or something.
