if being serious on subject i thought whole moba thing ended when petroglyph moba failed twice, first shut down and relaunched after facelift, and then shut down again, there were some assian mobas that never surfaced in west after initial trailers/teasers , that was around 2 years ago, feels bit strange that mobas are resurfacing again

As a genre? Maybe. The two-three big games have been increasingly popular in a long time.

Tho I'd go as far as saying they are quite the same as people who play facebook games and call themselves gamers
