Hi,
I just downloaded batman begins (dvdrip) and checked it on my 17inch monitor. There are blotches on the film and was wondering if it was from a retail source.

Thanks,
Chee

Stupid movie. I actually had a hard time to stay awake in the cinema, no joke!

The thing I hate most is the way they shot action-scenes, you just can't see a thing its like the camera flew around while they were filming. I know this was meant this way, but its retarded.

If you skip through the film, you will see it anywhere in the film.

Watched the entire movie with no playback issues. I'm running XviD-1.0.3-20122004 so you might want to check if a update is in order.

I found the movie to be highly enjoyable. The cast did a great job and they didnt resort to any cheap skin shots of katie. I'm sure that annoyed a few but shes already done some skin shots in other movies. If you had trouble staying awake then you mostly was looking for the skin shots, grow up. If you want your typical fight scene then watch your typical crappy movie. The movie had a deep plot which was more emotional then anything. True, the movie was a tad slow at the start but you could tell it was building up the suspense and drama. With a current rating of 8.3/10 (53,817 votes) at IMDB, many would agree with me.

I wasnt looking for skin shots of Katie - i dont find her attractive to be honest.
Secondly, the fight scene's werent all that good...to blurred, camera angle's suck and the guy who plays batman can't fight and doesnt do a convincing job portraying a fight...they should have used someone with a fighting (martial arts, boxing) background...not some crazy insomniac (The Machinist)

Then you're probably better off watching Joel Schumacher's films... Rolling Eyes

To hate the movie just because the fight scenes were too close is fuckin stupid. The movie isn't about the fighting at all!! It's a great movie and one of the best of the year.

Sin City will crush this movie if they get nominated for any awards.

I don't just like it because of the action, it's different than the Batman I watched on TV when i was a kid. They assraped the batmobile to something that looks suspiciously much like the halo warthog, same with the suit. Not to mention that batman fights like a pansy in this movie.

I mean, where do they get the balls to change the traditional batman. It's like making a new spiderman movie and make him green.

You do realise that Batman BEGINS is set BEFORE all the other batman movies? So how batman looked in the other movies is irrelevant. They could pretty much do whatever they wanted with this movie since it tells you the story of how batman was born. Smile

It's a damn good movie btw. By far the best batman movie. Bale is outstanding in the role, and one of the reasons for that is his badass voice as batman. Smile
His acting is also superb.

100% agree with the post above.

Besides, although I do like Burton's first Batman, it was completely unrelated to Batman comics. Batman Begins, on the other hand, tried (successfuly) to to stick with the real story - it borrows heavily from Batman: Year One comics, written by Frank Miller who actually liked the movie!

Its not like my favorite movie of all time or something, but I really appreciate the style they used, and the casting was just perfect. You just FEEL Tarantino was there when they made this movie, still he only directed one scene.
