I don't know who came up with the region-lock idea, but he was a retard. I'd have paid 16-20 euros for the game, but I clearly won't pay 30 euros when there are DLCs on the way... So the question is: steam is uncrackable and we are all fucking then?

Just check steam trades. They sell them for TF2/DOTA 2 keys. I paid $17 for Payday 2 through Paypal originally, then got the CCE upgrade for 4 TF2 keys, or about $8.60

Someone help me please. I just installed beta, but mouse is sluggish, and generally game feels very slow, i have vsync OFF, also turned down all settings, its a bit better, but still hardly playable. I can play all modern games no problem, but this feels like im trying to play it on pentium 4 and 3dfx voodoo 2. What can i do?

Maybe delete the config file and let it create a new one? Don't know much other options...what rig do you have?

I changed that max fps from 135 to 30 and it worked, its playable, but still unoptimised piece of crap.

I'm running the game in 1920x1080 on C2D E4500 @2.2GHz, 2x2Gb DDR2 1066MHz RAMs and GT650 or GT660 and it runs fine.
I don't know what's your problem with optimisation lol...

You have to wait until the release date if you want to find out how much of beta files are usable. you must rename the beta folder to PAYDAY 2, then install the game from library on the release date.

Any way to buy game from some key site? Im from EU, would pay like 15-20 EUR for game, but 30 is too much. Anyone know any jey site that sells it? Oh and will the beta progress get reset or can we keep the stuff?

Try using the Beta files on release tomorrow and make a file verification. I'm pretty sure it will work. Worst case would be that you have to download 1-2Gbs.

It does, I just did it yesterday with a friend of mine with 3 games... it's just different from before. You have to shove the files in and start the Steam install process, it will scan for already available files and go on from there.
Difference is that there was no scanning process before. You had to start to the install, pause it, shove the files in and verify and yes, it doesn't work that way anymore.
This does not apply to the pre-load though. So he'll have to wait until it's official release.
