Still life is one of the best stories ever, broken sword 1+2 also good, Fahrenheit is ok so far, little overhyped if you ask me its not that great. Also resident evil series rock

Both System Shocks and Deus Ex
Pretty much all the Final Fantasys but VI and VII being the best
both Fallouts and Baldurs Gate saga
Silent Hill serie
And definetly biggest favorite, Planescape Torment. Come on, which other game starts from mortuary after being killed for god knows how many times and being immortal. And instead typical plot of saving wolrd, you simply searched way to die.
