great thanks. I wouldve been surprised if not anyway. I think EA uses the same SD for every '06 sports title and madden and nhl works mounted...

because we post on a forum (that has many many different topics)....
I suppose I should go jump on MSN and talk to ppl on there for hours, then I have less of a chance being a nerd.....? lol
Ppl who use computers and the internet, arent considered nerds anymore Id say
thats why I said 95% still a few of us who can get away with it

Have somebody test the game on lan?
Maybe it is a bug..
The game shows to another player on lan that i dropped de ball into the hole...but....oh! i don't drop the ball still into the hole...and the game turns lazy...yehaw!!!!!!

PC version doesnt have the new swing mechanic controls even with an analog controller it doesnt have the new shot placement with the right stickr.

Well, I think this game is pretty good...a lil difficult if ur a noob to golf sims, but still fun and easy enough 
I have one question tho, how the fuck do u come up under the ball when ur driving to give ur ball more airtime and arch? I'll hit the ball perfectly and the guy is still slicing the fuckin thing...

you have to unlock it in the lessons, when you get enough expericance points it will be the Advanced Driving Lesson, where you move forward to hit higher or move Tiger Woods back to hit lower.
Loving this game, much better looking than the console releases, will be interesting to see how good it'll look when the rework it for xbox360 as i understand that version is still being made |
lol I cant even qualify for hack with my created golfer..I dunno why my guy sucks at driving. Even when i get every part of the swing right...I'm using the best driver available for novice amateurs chars....OCCASIONALLY, i may drive it like 257 yards...but on average i hit about 215 yards while the cpu guys consistently drive about 22-225 yards...and my never has any airtime...there's no way u can come up under the ball to give it a lil more arch? |

Anyone know how to hack some more resolutions into the game. Specifically looking for some 16x9 widescreen resolutions to use on my hdtv.
Thx a bunch.
Btw, what is it with these new games coming out and only supporting like 3 or 4 resolutions. Can't be that hard to add a couple more, considering LFS:S2 has about 500 with varying refresh rates.
Guess it comes down to the fact that ea is going way way downhill.

This is starting to chap my ass off...the computer guys usually get on the green on a par 4 in 2 shots...takes me 3...and its not like im hitting the ball in a trap or in the rough, pure fairway...and usually I out drive the cpu players on the first stroke, bout 240 yards average for frist drive...after that i cant over 225 yards...
Its really pissing me off, its not like they give u enough money to by a decent set of clubs or anything....seems like the cpu has good shit tho

Ok, this is really fuckin pissing me off now....how the fuck do u move ur guy back or forward?
I like the arrow (when its a hand) and all it fuckin does is turn my guy 180 degrees...thats obviously the reason why my drives and and sand trap chips are so fuckin shit
I watched the computer guys and they move back or forward toward the ball accordingly....why the fuck cant I?
what fuckin button is it? i checked the ingame control set up and...guess what? NO FUCKIN CONTROLS...this has to be by far one of the stupidest golf games ive played...no intro tutorial, no tutorial that explains the different variations of true swing, no tips on how to better ur game....for fuck sakes, it doesnt even tell u how to position ur guy closer or farther from the ball....and it cost me a mouse, fuckin smashed it thats how bad this game was pissing me off earlier....

You cant move to a closer tee when you play a tournament, just like in real-life. Ladies have their tee closer to the flag.
You improve your play by playing good. Like perfect swings which will give you power points and accuracy points if you hit it close to the pin, and so on. At first you will have a hard time making the fairway on some courses from the tee, but after you get more points you can improve your power and other attributes which will make a HUGE difference.
Play good and you will improve quite fast, play bad and your dude will continue to suck.

I dont mean move the tee closer
I mean my characters position to the tee...like standing far away for close up...I see the computer doing it on every shot and I have to figure this shit out.
I figured u have to click one of those 3 lines on the arrow, but all that does is spin my golfer 180 degrees in the opposite direction from the tee...
Like in a sand trap, in real golf, u stand farther away from ur ball and come up underneath to get good height...I see the computer doing this, but I get no option to change my golfing stance...fuckin rip off... |
