This game is sounding really good, I haven't played a SC game since Chaos Theory and it sounds like this one kind of goes back to the old style of gameplay (in the Perfectionist difficulty, anyway) rather than the more recent action-oriented titles. I got this one for free with my new video card, too bad I'll be forced to use Uplay.
And I ran it [Conviction] maxed out on an old GTX 275 0_o Guess it's like with Planetside 2 - it just runs properly on some machines while being completely crappy on others. And system specs almost have nothing to do with that....
Conv was very nicely optimized. I never had any problems with it with my 6850. It was running maxed out just fine.
That's odd, because back then my 6870 (and later on replay double 6870) had issues with it maxed out.
Unless you call it "just fine" even when it has drops below 60.
Hell even last month replay on my 770 had framedrops
UE 2.5 was never meant to handle such stuff tbh.

It never went below 60 fps. Btw I am playing on 1280x1024 ( ) because 1080p is too mainstream and I refuse to buy such monitor.

You'd be surprised with the amount of people that replay the game occasionally and their identities
Yeah I am still replaying the Terr Hunt levels from time to time. But the game is way too easy. I always hated how one guy dies and then his friends comes to XxX_1337_1nV3571g47e_420_XxX and dies in the EXACT same way his bro died and then OFC his friend comes to check it out and then his friend comes to check it out and then...
Besides that its a pretty average game.

Usually the install is set up so that the redistributable files are run on first start of the game (When started from Steam directly.) so yeah it should have started UPlay (Or at least UPlay should have been part of the redist runtimes.) which would then update itself to the latest version and allow the game to work as intended.
Well, it would unlock in about 3 days in my region. So I will have the benefit of waiting for you early adopters to play it and give some feedback on it and still be able to get the pre-order goodies (as lame as they might be) if I decide to buy it
