Usually I don'tlike these videos because they all overuse the same filters, effects and transitions, like the editor thought more is better and every single video looks the same, but that was quite nice.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
those games (and their videos) do nothing for me. I have never been a fan of non-stop twitching bunny hopping gaming like that. It's just a different style of gaming than I like. With the exceptions being Outlaws, Duke3D, Tribes and the old-ass game Outwars.
Yeah those are pretty good. But if you read the seconds link - he says that he only put in nice frags against really good opponents and not just impressive mid air rockets from random pubs.
Before he got big in PK, but this already shows what made him so successful in PK; wits and movement.
Click through to part 2 as well. Great match and shows the people above how wrong they are about it being twitching/bunny-hopping all the time. These guys are *constantly* keeping track of all the powerup timers in their head and most of the game consists of outsmarting rather than outshooting your opponent

No, it's definitely not easy and even strafe jumping is a foreign concept to a lot of gamers these days.
Yes, knowing how to do these things *does* matter as it allows you to get places quicker or fuck with your opponent's mind(s)
Edit: I second that notion Paxsali
I got tons of these videos, especially from when I played competitively.
Also, this one has pretty great editing. Mediocre fragging, some random mid-class US clan, but the editing makes it look good.
