I share his opinion on naval assault dlc, seriously, how can they pull this off?
Is it war in the middle of the pacific? Is there boats/helis/jets for everybody? What if you have to repair the vehicle, will there be engis just repairing and firing a couple of rpgs? Shit, don't count me in that role... And what if you have to abandon the vehicle, you fall on water and just swim with a pistol? Will there be destroyers that we can control, if so will there be any fun on two destroyers going at it or will it be tedious in the long run? And submarines?! What if you have to ditch one? Just imagine what will be like for the ace pilots flying around without any obstacles on the way, if they rape everybody even with mountains and buildings now it sure will be perfect setting for fucking the game for everybody.
I love bf3, It's basically the only game that I play online on a regular basis and gonna purchase bf4 for sure but that dlc just feels wrong...
Haha, people are rubberbanding while playing. I wonder if this will carry over to retail.
Hitdetection seems WAY off, I wonder if it's due to gamescon or did they just break the netcode even more?
*A guy shoots and 1-1½ second later he gets hitmarkers
Defib "loadup" is around 2-3 seconds...so that's how they'll remove revive trains.
BF4 has to feature fish A.I. else it won't be able to compete with CoD: Ghosts tiny poorly designed maps, amazing last-gen graphics, small scale scripted destruction and of course, DAWWWGS.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

I am pretty sure that Naval Assault is going to be something like that Paracel Storm - it's not all water, just maps designed in a way that allows naval combat.
Also he only had a point about boats because the maps in BF3 didn't really allow them to be used in a meaningful manner

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
