Speaking of which, can you use the car from Wheels of Fury in story missions, races and so on or only in the side missions that the DLC adds?

You can use the car everywhere, though I'm not sure about racing events.

You can't use it in races. I didn't see a single race where I could have used it (did all of them).
Otherwise it's waiting for you in the garage.

Re-installed SD out of boredom, running W7 64bit fully up to date, PC more than meets the requirements, game boots up and I can hear sound but the screen is black.

Game worked fine last year when I had an ATI card, does this game not like NVIDIA? Laughing

Then what the fuck is the problem? all my components are up to date, it's a clean install, fully updated, it boots up fine and I hear sound but no image.

Every other game I have installed works fine. Evil or Very Mad

The game is profitable (now).

I look at a game like Sleeping Dogs, with a world-class development team at United Front Games behind it and still see over half a million people continuing to play it every month. It’s a similar story with Just Cause 2, a game which is over 3 years since release and yet still has over half a million active and unique players each month, enjoying the larger than life world of Panau, and we’re looking forward to the launch of the community created multi-player mod later this year.

This level of engagement is exciting as a developer. For Sleeping Dogs this continued support has now enabled us to turn this into a profitable game for the business, a critical milestone for a new intellectual property and something I’ve seen our sales, marketing and studio teams across Europe and America work hard together to achieve. It also shows that we are creating content which is keeping millions of people entertained enough to want to spend their time in our world.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."

Excellent Smile Now on to work on that sequel! Maybe add Shanghai as a new hub or something!

Or send Wei Shen to Tokyo on a special assignment!

I'm currently replaying the game and I love it as much now as I did when first playing it last year, it's an incredible title and it's really rather depressing to find out that it's only now - a year later - turning profit. Just wow. This industry needs a monumental shakeup.

Bought it @ releaseday, didn't regret spending money on it at all.
dlc policy on that one kinda sucked but even the basegame is enjoyable to say the least and yes,i am taking the parts into account that felt like they didn't really add up story-wise

There's only four or so larger story DLC, rest is just bonus costumes, convenient unlocks and such so even though the game has like 30 DLC most of them aren't adding much to the game. Smile

Fantastic game.

Here's hoping that R* learn anything from it's PC version for their possible GTAV PC port, namely the "doesn't run like utter shit" aspect.

I haven't played Nightmare or Snake yet though I'm about 90% through the base story (again...) and then I'll tackle the two larger DLCs afterwards.

I really, really liked the original game, but the two DLCs suck. The zombie one is awful, and the Year of the Snake is mediocre.

Year of the Snake sounds incredible! I'm loving the idea of having to tackle the "what happens after" when Wei Shen emerges from undercover and goes back on duty. I love the idea of the arrest mechanic too, something that harkens back to True Crime's actual gameplay features of being able to arrest criminals Very Happy
