Whaha, i already had cops in the house when i was smoking weed here with friends.
We actually had 20 grams at the time lying on the table, yet they weren't bothered at all by it Razz
Even on the street once, was smoking with a friend, 2 cops came up to us, one of them actually took a hit and then asked us to move a bit further (a tad more out of sight of the public) Razz
So yeah, cops are awesome here when it comes to weed Wink

Battlefield 4 launches with 10 maps and 7 game modes
Quote:
During another gameplay-filled live interview at GamesCom, DICE just revealed that Battlefield 4 will launch with no less than 10 multiplayer maps and 7 game modes. By comparison, BF3 launched with 9 maps and 5 game modes. DICE’s Linnea Harrison confirmed the map and game mode count during an on-stage interview at GamesCom (we’ll post the video once it becomes available).
It’s also been confirmed that the Battlefield 4 Commander won’t be available in all modes, and is limited to objective based modes such as Conquest, Rush, and Obliteration. The newest game mode, Obliteration, has been showcased extensively at GamesCom. It’s unknown if all maps will support all game modes — we assume this is the case, since all BF3 maps supported all game modes.

Don't worry, we'll get at least 20 more maps from DLC.

And they will get worse with every new DLC released. In the poll EA put up in the battlelog - which is your fav bf3 content, the vanilla option won with not a small margin.

That's not something I agree with. DLC maps are on par with Vanilla and most of them are even better.

IMO aftermath is on par or above the vanila but I'm having a hard time finding a rush server. And if I do it's the 64 man rush which is way too chaotic for me. I hate AK and CQ, but end game and b2k aren't bad either.

For the mexican origin bf4, I did get confirmation email and there is a pending charge on my cc from ea for $1.01

I'm pretty sure the EA poll means nothing. There are people who don't like the idea of DLC and dont own it at all and just vote for vanilla, there are people who don't own all dlc-s which means they can't judge it correctly(or in my case havent played them all).

I myself havent tryd anything beyond karkand dlc. I was waiting to play the one which was focused on vehicles and big maps(can't remember the name, third one), but the time it arrived i didn't play bf3 anymore. I liked karkand maps more than vanilla, but maybe thats because i played them to death in bf2 too, i just think they are good maps. Smile

I don't like the idea of many dlc-s very much, because it divides the community up too much if there are 4 or 5 different dlc-s. I'd like them to patch maps for everyone and dlc the other shit, but thats just my naive dream.

+1

And about Rush mode, in my very personal opinion it was a failure, most Rush servers seem to be unpopulated, many of them empty. In the end most people gravitated towards Conquest and the COD derps seem to love team deathmatch as expected.

Well, you can still find a lot of rush servers, but 80% of them are running vanilla maps, which sucks. Most servers I find are running TDM Canals and yeah..vanilla maps.

Yeah the only ones I find that have enough people playing to be worth it are running vanilla maps like you say. Which is sad, as I've seen the rush versions of many of the DLC maps and they were really fun, especially Back to Karkand.

I doubt it's cause the maps aren't "fun", people (including me) just aren't willing the shelve out the extra cash for premium.
Plus the fact most servers are tagged as "premium" servers (if they bought premium); people who bought the expansions seperately can't get into servers running the content they bought just because they didn't get the full premium package & thus aren't tagged as premium, which is imo complete bullshit.

It'll be different this time around though i figure as premium is launching from the get-go compared to BF3 where premium showed it's ugly head about a year after BF3 released or whatever.

I doubt it's because of what you say either. Premium actually sold shitloads. So no, quantity of players owning the DLC isn't the issue.

But yeah, like you, i hope it will different this time around, but sadly I doubt it.

shitloads still isn't comparable to the original package/vanilla amounts, especially nowadays with the humble bundle & whatever other promotions EA has done the past year with BF3 being next to free, you'll see a lot more people playing a nearly free game obviously.

i'm almost confident it will, unlike with BF3 where premium launched later, i didn't want to shelve out extra cash, but now it being released on launch, i almost feel compelled to get it, against my principles -.-
hell i'd almost dare to say EA should deal with it better & sell a more expensive total package deal, where 4+premium is bunched together, tempting players even more rather than sticking to a seperate deal.
it'll cost more, i'd roll my eyes really hard, but community & player amount-wise it would be for the better.

What, is this real ? EA really did such of bullshit move ? that if you own same dlc seperately you still can't play on the server ? That is just complete assfucking, first you divide community by dlc then on top of that with premium. Facepalm
