ive restarted client and logged in 3 times since 2hrs now and longest wait i had was que of 42 that went through in like a min or so.  |

Yeah well if you have a character already, it's "smoother" sailing than if you haven't created any yet. All servers are basically full.

Ah I see, but thats dumb cause its release day for the game lol.. so you have gone through triyng to make toons and it refuses to let u? or u hoping to get on a particular server that wont let u? |

Dude, there is one single server at the moment in the NA/EU server group that lets you create a character.
And yeah, i don't want to create one on that server. And i basically don't have any other characters.

Finally got my mount! Holy hell that took a long time. Now the question is, do I keep leveling and get my Warrior unlocked, or move to a DPS class?

what? mount? were u not miles behind me and u got some ce order stuff so u did 20+ levels 2000 coins from a grand company all in a day or so? |

ah i see,, im 21 but not even got grand company yet on way to scions guys now.. maybe im close..
regarding mount no idea chocobo is just the coolest lol
well whats ur main class highest level? and do u have other classes trained up yet?
im guessing ur marauder? lvl 23?
right now im 21 Thaum / 15 archer /11 arcanist / 11 goldsmith / weaver 4 :O

Few quick questions as I haven't followed this MMO at all (other than reading about the dreadful backlash the original received at launch)....
How is this game laid out structurally? Is it just a bunch of boxed in, limited path instanced areas, or is it more one huge open zone?
Also, is solo grinding most of the content viable?
Are there any servers that are NOT cross platform enabled? I don't really relish the thought of having to play and put up with dirty console peasants (children  ).
From what I've seen of it, it just looks like a way more Asian variant of Guildwars - but that assessment could be way off the mark.

Kuro, how are you dealing with your MP? I mean, it's regening pretty fast it appears like. Is that a White mage skill or passive Conjuror thing? I just recall playing Conj and being out of mana more than I think I should have.
Also, what stat allocation do you have?

You need to logon on at a stupid time for your timezone, i have wanted to get on odin all day, like you say all the EU servers was "unavailable" for new characters. I have played on a NA server all day, just gone back to create a new toon at 3am Uk time and all the EU servers was available to make a character on, where as all the NA servers was "unavailable"

mana is no issue for thaum either, we use the ice spell to attack when low on mana and it regens mana while doing so in two shots or so i can be maxed mana again and back to high end fire damage spell.
there are other ways to get ur mana back spells or potions as well. |

Right, I'm familiar with the Thaum and the pots, but the Conjuror specifically didn't appear to have anything available to them, at least up to the lvl 15 one I played. Kuro's mana seemed to come back at quite a high rate so that's why I'm asking for specifics.
