well here's how it worked for me... Smile

1. use the flyvpn trial with the mexican endpoint
2. use store2.origin.com, not www.origin.com
3. put the BF4 Deluxe (not sure if standard works) into your basket
4. check out, buy via CC
5. log into battlelog
6. go to the BF4 preorder page which now turns into premium preorder page.
7. buy premium from there (399 pesos, will go through store2)
8. ????
9. profit!

my CC has been charged for both so I'd say everything went well... :3

Maybe it works but im NOT gonna buy bf4 for 613.77 mxn , this final price showed after CC verification. Umm and why would you want to buy bf4 deluxe edition if you gonna get permium, waste of money.

let's see... standard didn't work for me so I tried deluxe... which worked and is still 20€ cheaper through mx-store than standard through my regular store...

so how exactly is that a waste of money? Rolling Eyes

worked a treat using the store2 one mate.. cheers, bf4 deluxe for about £25 less than they wanted, which is still about the same price for a standard d/l game

Tried this with elite proxy on firefox and aimed for the standard edition + premium, worked like a charm.
Thx a lot m8.

I bought it from Gamestop's piece of shit impulse thing because they had 20% off and i assumed EA would have learned their lesson by now. Now I have to wait for them to send my key which will probably not happen until release before I can buy cheap premium. And I have to install their awful software to get my key

I thought the code was only for the bonus in-game content like it says in the paper with the code so I didn't activate it earlier. Laughing

Activated it now Very Happy

It is, but also for China Rising, hence battlelog shows you've pre-ordered BF4, when in fact you only got the DLC so far. Got to wait until game is actually shipped to get it show up on origin.

Jackfrags his first impressions after playing the lots and lots of hours at the Gamescom. How can you not be positive about this game after watching this? We'll even get a lean option Razz

What's great is that DICE are listening and actually using what the community points out. The bad part is that after the game launches they stop (at least til the next game).

I think the most important thing needed for that to work even after release is that they change their patching system. One huge update every 3 months that still fucks up a number of things is not desirable to say the least.

This looks like what Battlefield 3 should have been, a true sequel to BF2.

Gunplay looks better, maps look a lot more interesting, the new/returning feaures are good.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

Shame about no two seat planes.

They did say they changed the patching system to allow faster updates...

yeah i seem to recall that too, but i think it would only matter to things concerned with battlelog integration and net code perhaps, since we PC gamers still must wait for M$ and $ony to authorize the patches. hope i am wrong though.

Yeah, when they were talking about being able to apply fast fixes with ease, I also wondered how they managed to get around console certification processes.
Perhaps Sony/MS have streamlined their side of things as well. I seem to recall some talk about not charging for updates, for example... don't remember the details now though Very Happy

For me the biggest improvement is suppression. It's just a pain in the ass in Battlefield 3. You know you're better then the guy against you, yet you die because your bullets deviate and not hit where you aim. But that no longer will happen in Battlefield 4 So Much Win

Yeah, because of that 110$ we buy from the Mexican Origin. Saves you about 50% I think for the whole package.

I am going to wait and see just how exactly the suppression system will work now. People keep talking about how it's less of a problem now and not annoying, but the whole purpose of suppression is to make things difficult...
Why even have it implemented if you can just ignore it Razz
