Wasn't sure if I should post thing is sharing corner, since its just for games..but its sharing..ahh..I don't know!! so posting it here.

Long story short we are in the process of moving to a new house, and in the process of paying the deposits, the new landlord decided since our 2 dogs are small dogs, he will waive the pet deposit of 250 that I already had planned to pay and saved on the side for it.
Anyway, I got $250 extra I didn't expect to have, $150 of it Im going to use to get a rental moving truck instead of using my friends pickup 6-7 trips..So I got $100 extra just laying around.
Got to thinking "I dont NEED it, and a few people on the hump are always tight on money, Ill give it to somewhere there, as a gift via paypal". I've been here so long you guys are like family somewhat....Loud, annoying, constantly bickering family. So figured I could help one of the guys out in need.

So this is where the post comes from. Who do you think should get it? you cant vote for yourself, has to be another member. And has to be one of the regulars around here. And preferably someone that's low on funds a lot.

If enough people put in suggestions, Ill make a poll post with the most common names and winner of that poll takes the prize. Spend it on whatever they want: Food Games, hookers, anal beads, anal waxing,..whatever.

Much love. Smile

Can't vote, since I'm oblivious about the financial situation of anyone here. In fact, I think I won't vote, since I would be impartial to people I like, and would hate it if it didn't go to someone who actually needs it but I just don't interact with them, and mine was the swing vote. Razz

Well I only get 400€ a month (even jobless people get more in Belgium) but seems I'm worth less because I take a year off at work :/ So me?

*Edit* Well you can't vote on yourself, so the one I always notice to have a little but yet goes out of his way to help others and give to others (+ he lives of his other half like I do ) is Sabin so my vote goes to Sabin.

Well and if I can say a second name: Saus, remember him with debts so Smile

As for who to vote for? I don't really pay much attention to people's financial situations, I think we all have our bad times with stuff going wrong, so I honestly don't know anyone that's struggling - except perhaps sausje, so he gets my vote Smile

As incredibly grateful as I am, perhaps this was a bit TOO quick? I'd say let it run for a couple of days, to be fair to everyone else and give more people a chance to vote <3

maybe one of the east european guys.
Reason i say eastern europen is i talked to girl today from Ukraine who is a friend of a friend who i started chatting with cause she is gonna teach me russian , and today i was telling her how i wanted to do the siberian train trip through russia next summer. and she was telling me how it is expensive and i was like its doable since russia is cheaper than most places and Belgium has good pay ( so i guess i came off as the wealthy western european ). And I guess Russia didnt seem special to her vacation wise cause she lives in that area and i asked where she dreamt of going on vacation and you have to realize she is a very cheerful and friendly girl without an inch of fakeness but suddenly there were no smileys and she said how she worries about having food the next day and cant think of having bigger dreams than that. That really struck me. I remember how after communism fell in the warsaw pact that ukraine was worst off. so i googled a bit for average wages and found numbers like $150 a month for teachers , $300 for uni professors. i mean thats averaging 200ish euros, amount of money i can easely spend on a new videocard if i wanted to. im not well off but since she said that im thinking of mailing her 100 euros or so out of the blue, it wont fix all her problems, i cant support her with 200 euros a month but i feel i gotta do something to lighten up her life, she takes her precious time to teach me russian on skype with utmost patience never complaining.
I know i totally hijack your thread here with my story but its been running around my head all day to the point where i cant focus on any movie or game, but i hugely appreciate your will to give to the unfortunate, that $250 can make a huge difference in someones life. Especially when we talk about low wage countries like eastern europe which still are considered industrialized first world countries. So if we cant find someone in need on this forum im sure we know someone that does, and dont worry about ukranian girl , i think i made up my mind just now.
Also beyond money, i still see alot of people with very old outdated rigs on this forum who dont pirate cause they are stingy but cause they cant afford the games , let alone rigs to play them properly. Im sure we got alot of people with spare parts that would still be valueable and an upgrade for these people. I never sell my used hardware cause i simply dont wanna put up with people who dont know what they are doing , break the stuff when installing it, and then send it back wanting their money back. For example i got a OCZ 700W 80+bronze laying around that i modded with a quiet zalman fan, i just keep it in case current PSU dies, but honestly its just collecting dust. and for anyone upgrading his old DELL with 400w psu there is no way around a new PSU and they never really get any cheaper over the years and is still an investment. So for whatever its worth if we find some legit people in need who would like better rigs but simply have economic situation around them that wont allow it ill be the first to offer some donations. #givingmood.

To be honest, I vote for Sabin, I am aware of his situation.

You also said we could vote for ourselves and I'm going to do the selfish thing and nominate myself as well, but mainly because, I could sure use those money to buy a new pair of sneakers since mine just got a hole in'em and I don't have money to spend for at least two other months since I have to take care of my dad. Sorry to be the only one, but I'm honestly in need.

Cheers and you're really awesome for doing this.
