Btw, you're showing off your CD-key in the first screenshot. I'd edit that, if it's your actual key.

Yor pestige is very low, didn't you also have a peasants war in your country?
Some of the rebels are nationalist so there is chance that you had high overextension and did not finish making cores on new provinces.
Anyway had simillar problem in my ironman with England. Some french nationalists show up in stack of over 50k. I had to leave my allies in war and handle with domestic problems.

I play Hanza atm, got nice fleet, took 3 close territories...i was going to get Holstein, but Denmark took them and what is worse they took Norwey. And when I thought that I am pretty much faked, they fabricated claims on all my provinces... I think that I am pretty much over....

Started as Friesland (or Friedland? forgot)...basically a small republic in the netherlands. After about ~7 bad starts, I managed to unify the netherlands and now I'm pretty much dominating europe. Denmark, Spain and the Ottomans are still strong though, and they have a coalition against me... will see how it ends.

If you play casually (2-4 hours a day), and carefully manage things, then I would say just a bit less than a week.

My first game took 23 hours, and I didn't rush too much, but didn't play slowly either..

Currently playing The Serbian Kingdom. After the Kingdom of Bosnia refused my diplomatic offers and made me their rival and a few bad moves from their part, i've decided to wipe them out. Bosnia was incorporated in the Serbian Kingdom and shortly after I've made a quick grab on their allies, Wallachia. Now, they are all of the same culture.
Next on my to do list: Croatia ( which was overwhelmed by Venice and Hungary, while i was busy fighting Bosnia and Wallachia ). Purpose: creating a Balkanic Empire, with the addition of Moldavia ( gonna frag them when they will try to revolt against their polish masters ) and, if possible Transylvania ( Moros, Bihar, Maramoros, Hunyiad, Temes ). Also, Albania and Ragusa.
After consolidating those, I'll have to find a way to eliminate the turks from the Balkans and bring under my rule Bulgaria and Greece. Hope that things will go my way and i'll be prepared against the russian and austrian expansion.

Its better for the worthless ruler to be involved in longer fights - that increases his chances for dying. And as far as I know you cant abuse the ship thingy. |
HAHAHAHA! Good idea. I have retards in Hanza all the time :S
Anyways...
Tech is very important, you can't win 12k army with 10 when full morale and tech is much lower. One chance - amazing general. Thou i have retards there also.
Any ideas about my missing merchant?
I tried uncle google and I didnt find anything usefull. I read that merchant can be outplayed in trade node, but I don't have any message about it. |
About the merchant, its often enough you get a event about your merchant being kicked out of an node for various reasons (then he returns home and you can send him there again, so its just tiresome). But if he died then its a bug or else you just found the most nasty event in the game
About generals, if you get one with really high shock value, then you can take on the low odds. Shock is the one that kills in hordes (where you suddenly see kills in the 1000 per tick).

I had an event that gave me extra two diplomats, so I guess it's possible that there are negative ones for each agent.

I recommend jumping over the pond and taking one of the Italian city states with an university (thats -5 tech cost). And waging war in different directions will ease up the relationspenalties, you dont want Hungary, Poland and Lithuania in a coalition.
And build up your navy for when facing the Ottomans, if you can have a navy stand in Bosporus strait, then its gets alot easier (just be carefull sometimes they do get passage to go all the way around the black sea).

I really dont think so, losing a merchant permanently sounds crazy.
But if he did change from an Merchant Republic to Monarchy he would lose the merchant like he describes.
