Yes that's being discussed on the Steam forums too, strange for a gamepad to be required for a PC game but maybe it was difficult to get a keyboard setup fully functional since you move two characters at once via the analogue sticks.

launcher of the FLT version crashes for me, game itself works but voiceovers are in a strange language even though UI is in english.
Edit: It seems like whole game is in gibberish as a design choice.

Oh, someone explained why it is makes no sense to play with keyboard: interact buttons work in "console way" ie you have HOLD them constantly to make characters execute action and so you end up in a situation where you must press and hold up to 4-6 buttons. It is not that this is just quite hard and unusable, but some keyboards won't allow you to have 3-4 keys pressed at once.
So yeah lol.

This is where a gamepad comes in handy for these console ports. I hope this changes for the next gen consoles but I doubt it.

Run the BrothersLauncher.exe to change video settings. The only options are resolution and VSync.

Cordless Rumblepad 2 here and the big brother (left stick) doesn't work properly. It's like backwards up is down and down is up and so on. Anyone with this problem or that can hint me on how to fix it?

I gave xpadder another try and mapped the left stick keys to the D-PAD also, still didn't work but then I turned the D-pad off and to my surprise it worked. But now sometimes the right stick that was working fine, move on its own, lol , this game has bugs. Anyway I may try what you did then.
