I've just bought a boxed version and there's no such buddy key... probably only on collector edition.

well maybe he was mistaken, my boxed copy comes with 2 keys: 1 for the game and 1 to register the game on the exclusive square enix membership site. ( 2 cd keys, for the same product... quite retarded if you ask me)

First class can be quested to 50 almost painlessly. (You will get into gaps (no quests) if you don't do any fates + skip guildhests).

I had to grind 47-> 49.

But until there I got fairly smoothly. (I ran fates only when I happened to see one nearby, finished all instances and guildhests once.)

47-49 was nonstop fate grind at Ceruleum processing plant. (Took maybe few hours)

Alright guys, so I kind of want to buy this game but I don't know for sure if I'll really ENJOY it or not...

If I haven't actually played any of the FF games but like the general atmosphere the series seems to give off and what-not, would I still enjoy the game? Really wondering if it's worth the buy right now or if I should leave it for a couple more months.

Seriously, some dd's deserve to wait 90 min. in queue's. It's sad to see them flame the tanks that are fighting ifrit hardmode for the first time.

those people have no fucking idea how difficult it can be sometimes to heal/tank and dance at the same time. Some of those morons even don't know (like one bard in our guild, akvma prolly knows the person that I am talking about) how many times the healer saves his ass, because he's too dumb to avoid bossvoids = mana waste for us.

You stand in Ifrit's melee/medium AOE because you forget to step back again after Ifrit has casted the ground-stuff on the casters/range ;3

LEL

But yeah, after all the bossfights, duties and dungeons that prepare you - DD's that basically have to do nothing still have too much trouble getting out of obvious stuff making every healers life harder ( and the parties life possibly quite a bit shorter ).

I did Amdapor Keep yesterday with a dragoon from our guild, this time without the bard that I was talking about before....and we killed everything with only 1 wipe at the endboss. You just need to find the right people.

I guess it could be if you're not pushing yourself to get all the mats for GSM / BSM / ARM and everything else yourself Laughing
I recently went out and got myself 3 stacks of copper and a stack of tin and zinc. I like mining a bit less now. And I doubt it'll be enough.

true dat!

Except Ifrit is a faceroll (for the tank) if you have Pally interrupting Razz

Been lately doing the interrupts with my rl friend who's playing warrior (me monk).

It seems that the people never understand how to handle the interrupts (unless there's a Pally), no matter what they claim.
