Oh man........ I have gtaiv on a pc but I remember it looking on 360 jsut incredible. I got 360 just for gta IV when it came out. The day it was out.
I was stunned and amazed. Not really played it much on 360 since then and oh ... my ... god..

IT LOOKS LIKE BLURRY FUCKING 320x240 mess. The framerate is fine. solid 30 but it feels like any other 360 game. but the way it looks. jesus. It is so blurry I can't believe I was so stunned about it.

I mean - assets are still good, sfx too. Even the lighting and colours are somewhat better than on shitty washed out pc version. But the resolution and jagginess is just impossible.

I was playing on console set to 1680x1050 on my old 22 sammy monitor back then. Right now I am playing on 23inch dell ips 1080p in console. Maybe that is the problem ? Maybe I should set consoles to 720p and let my dell fo the scaling. Or use another cable than vga which I was and am using. damn. Laughing

On the other hand - The Darkness still looks good. Gears of war2 still looks good ...Jaggies but overall as I remember.

Tho I must admit there is that special console feel from that gta IV. I dont get it when playing pc version.
Time to reinstall it on pc, cap to 30fps, set to low/medium and 720p and do a direct comparison on outputs Idea

edit: and yeah. Tho 30fps is not impossible it really does feel like ass in darkness or gears of war. (more feel like ass. it look okishly smooth) but in gta iv it actually feels smooth. The camera is so floaty...

It will be difficult for me to play GTA V unless its a miracle game. And it will be hard to reaply The Darkness but I really love that game and I want to Crying or Very sad
Also... since geras of war1 is on pc, It would be bad idea to reaply 1 on pc and 2,3 on 360 Laughing
