Man this was like ending the Red Wedding episode the moment the crossbowmen open fire.
I would have preferred it if they had shown the complete shootout, then zoom out on the dead bodies and leave the shocked viewer behind in silence.

anyone else think that the backup came a bit fast? Walt calls them and within 2 minutes they are there?

especially the no hitting part, I mean they are just a few meters apart, and he can't hit a target like hank within 2 seconds shooting with an assault rifle? Come on, I expect better than that from breaking bad. This almost felt like the governor prison attack in the walking dead. I would hate to see hank survive this, I mean making his death obvious with the call and then not delivering is no way to treat your audience. We want blood!!!!! , Further I didn't like that Walt did the "I'm too stupid to control my emotions, so I'm going to spill all the beans on the phone" thing. He is better than that...

Ergh... pity all that tension had to end with an over the top cheesy crap shootout.

I thought it was ridiculous that in that insane bullet hell with uber-powerful rifles involved not a single guy was hit once..I mean, come on. The targets were pretty close as well.

Also cutting to black right before the shootout even started would've made more sense imo. (although I think the result is quite clear anyway, especially after that phonecall )

I'm glad that my weird prediction failed though.
Perhaps Jesse and Walt will both be forced to re-unite to cook meth once again or die?
