The ‘barbarians' are massing along the borders, and in some
cases are living inside what used to be Roman territory. Two
hundred years have now passed since the main campaign in Rome:
Total War. Players can now control vast armies and over 100 new
units as they battle across an updated European map that now
reflects the historical changes since Rome: Total War. Tear Rome

Empire as a leader of one of the two former Romes, the Western
and Eastern Empires.

Yeah, I thought the same! Too many games to play right now. And this expansion looks damn good, PC gamer did a preview on it and they said it's Da bomb. Worth the download.

Oh yeah man, this is prolly the biggest release in the last 24 hours outta all of em
Dont get me wrong, NBA and FIFA are wicked, but ive been waiting for this for a long while....gunna play it for an hour and if i like it, gunna buy it...I mean, a game that can be replayed hundreds of times (to me atleast) is worth my money. Is this a Pre-retail release tho?
EDIT - NICE!! Reloaded came through with the crack

Expansion. It's good. Very good. I got a chance to play it already, and I must say, well worth the money if you have it, if not, EASILY worth the bandwidth.

Let the slaughter, burning, and rapage begin!
Controlling the Roman Legions was great, and now we have the direct antithesis of those.
Too bad my week is busy as hell
Someone massacre a town in my name please
Would someone care to give a quick rundown of stuff thats new, as I haven't really had the opportunity to read up.
From what I've gathered thus far:
New Campaign
10 playable barbarian factions
Night Time Battles
The Horde ability (town picks up and moves as an army)
What else?
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

God damnit, too many games to play. I dunno if I should get this, If I am going to get this I am going to buy it 100% because I own RTW original and I think It's a fucking masterpiece, but with Ultimate Spiderman, Fahrenheit and now the game I have been waiting 4 years on, B&W2, I dunno if I should get this.

Well, Im playing as the Goths and got attacked like right off the bat right. I had 2 armies, guys in total were like 200...attacking force was like 689 or something...I defeated them, but I dunno if it was me or the cpu sucks...I made them botteneck in an entrance to my town, hit them with 2 squads of archers while 2 squads of spearman held them at bay, finished em off with my faction leader...
Im really enjoying this game and now that i figured out the money cheat (same as RTW) its gunna be even better
Money Cheat (Case sensitive)
------------
When ur playing the game hit the ~ key to bring up console and type
add_money 20000

I like to put the combat AI on the maximum difficulty and strategy AI on medium, I find that the strategy AI is incredibly relentless on the hardest setting, but the combat AI is still lackluster even when at max.

I play both on Hard, with Manage All Settlments and Unlimited Battle Time Limit checked.
On a side note, anyone find the new campaign to start you off with way to many resources? Shit scattered all over the place, cities built up to max level at start, 8 full armies...wow.
I don't even know from which end to start
I liked the original campaign better in the regard that you started with nothing, and systematically conquered. The barb. tribes are just all over the place
Also, AI seems to build forts now, which I never saw em use in the original. Seems a bit improved imo, as they use their cavalry to greater effect (or they may just have more of them).
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

You can't have played very long then... yes, you get a lot of armies at the start, but as soon as you conquer settlements, they join up with the settlements.
I was kinda flummoxed when, after I conquered a city, suddenly had no army in that city.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

I didn't even pass the original one yet :'(
About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.
Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.
