That didn't surprise me at all. Its the same in GTA IV... vehicle damage is much better and more realistic car vs car. You could go full speed crashing into a wall in GTA IV with pretty much no damage.

I won't lose any sleep over damage models and varying volumes of traffic. As long as we get an engrossing story and a decent frame rate, I'll be happy.

This! I just booted GTA IV grabbed random car and went full speed into wall - only headlights broke... so it's pretty sure is the same or little updated in V.

And holy crap, do IV looks like shit on consoles compared to GTA V. :0

yep, it doesnt matter how fast you drive into something the first time in gta 4, its the number of consecutive crashes that brings out the damage model.

i have no idea when they get the game, altho a colleague at work called me last night telling me he had a few "interesting packages" in the haul Laughing so its safe to assume copies are going out to the smaller stores today or tomorrow (i work at "a mail service") Wink
