Serious question, albeit playing Devil's Advocate. We're now 4 days from actual release and none of the major groups have a release. This is an achievement in itself for R* considering the game is in a console bundle for the PS3 at least.
Why do you think this is? Do you think R* figured out at which part of the supply chain most releases come from and applied extra security at that point? Obviously they can't have security around every single copy making its way to retail, otherwise no one would have it at this point. Do you think R* might have perhaps thrown money at groups not to release this? Far-fetched, I know, but there has to be some reason we haven't seen a scene release as of yet.

quick question guys, I have an acient old flashed 360, still works (despite being fixed a few thousand times) ha.
Is there anything stopping gta v working? I aint used this console since RDR.
Used to just burn with clonecd at 2.4 speed, is it still the same?

Don't worry. At this rate a lot of people should finish in 2-5 hrs and speeds will pick up after that.

Hello evilmonkey, don't pay attention to NFOAC, the lack of GTA5 rls made him nervous.
I'm pretty sure you will need LT3.0 and a burner that support iMax firmware. I haven't burned any game since i got my 360 RGH'ed so i'm not sure.

i think if you actually had to swap discs, like forza, then you would have to get freestyle for that. there may be another way but i'm not current on it if there is. i do know everyone uses freestyle for swapping though

Disk 1 will be finished first . And disk 2 an hour after for me . So I wonder will I be able to play with just disk 1 after the mandatory install ? Any ideas ?

I was just about to ask that. How to get it to work if it has mandatory installation?
Forza two had just disk swaps, some people wrote it works like Halo 4 but I never bothered with Halo 4 on RGH.

Manditory install of disk 1. You need at least 8gb free. Disk 2 is optional install but it has to be in the dvd drive to play

@dick you will probably have to have the 2nd disc to play
@prze from what i understand you're not swapping discs. going on my idea earlier when you select disc 1 it will do the install thing, then it will probably say insert disc 2 or something. all you should have to do at that point is exit to the dash and launch disc 2 and be good to go.
if you had to swap then you would always start with disc 1, and then take it out to insert 2. that would be a hassle and defeat the purpose of installing the first disc.

well for any 2 disc games i played so far i didn't have any problem (Mass Effect 3, Max Payne 3 and others i can't remember now) i always make the 2 discs into GOD format and everything works perfect. but all 2 disc games i played didn't have a mandatory install.

I left my utorrent on while I went to the pub and it says 37% w/ .038 seeders???
hopefully i will wake up to a scene release and we can forget all this craziness...
