i havn't played in ages, but read some threads about ppls bf3 installs reverting to original purchase languages in origin and having to fuck around to fix it?
someone correct me if i'm wrong but i think you can get away with a mexican/russian cd key (from any of the popular key sites), then getting a premium key locally for full price. that way the install will stay in your local language on origin?

From what I understood the pre-loading starts on the 27th, our beta on October 1st and then the first 3 days are exclusive to premium members and pre-order holders. But take it with a grain of salt.  |

Well.... I won't buy game throught Origin anyways, becouse these MORONS at EA, don't allow to change game language through Origin.
I have 60mbits download connection so I put BF3 to download, 40 minutes later I run game and DANG! Polish language. I am Polish, but still... I prefer to play games in english language. So I go to EA Live Chat and they confirm...
I have to spend 1h+ on install from DVD to get english language...
Steam is light years ahead. Anyways... I will be getting box then, just to pick language.

Is the russian key region locked?
I think i read somewhere, that the persons russian key for BF3 got converted to a "normal" version after activating on Origin.
Becaues on Plati main game costs only around $30
|

What about Premium? Where do you plan on getting it from? I only see pre-orders for base game on Allegro (for example). |
Both the whole Premium pack and the expansions separately were always full price, even in Russia (50€ or so), I am guessing due to there not being a retail component. If there was a difference between regions, it was usually rather small. I am not sure how it is right now.
One option is buy through GMG, they have a 20% coupon active right now that works with it. I bought Premium for 37€

I have BF3 box from Ultima.pl and bought premium key over allegro. Everything works fine and in english. So i think premium is checking main install.

That is on the Origin site... I'm not arsed about what's missing if I'm truthful, I'm just pissed they have taken it away without saying a damn thing. It's like buying a new car only to find out you're two things short than what the brochure original said you'd get. Bad example but you know what I mean...

Maybe its for the other people who pre order it. I preordered the standard edition a while ago. I still have my china xpack shit, access to the beta and got the bf3 vehicules shortcut. If you bought it before they removed these extra, i'm pretty sure you still have them.

I seriously doubt they will remove bonuses from your account if you ordered the game when they were still listed. This is more likely to apply to new orders only.

I wonder does the beta include ultra settings (real ultra), BF3 beta did not have maximum eye candy available if i remember correctly.
