i played that mission yesterday and that exact part ran only slightly below 30 fps for me, far smoother than that gif (360 version btw)

On the 360? That's bizarre, PS3 is the one with the lower framerate so far but not 15fps, it's usually around 20-25 in high traffic *or* areas with lots of lightsourcing.

In my 15hours++++ of play, it most certainly does not run at 15fps. Even the most heavy traffic and lighting has it running at 20-25. It's far from unplayable and my eyes are fine Wink Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy about the framerate (as my many, many posts on this subject have been all too open about Razz) but it's not 15 and it's not unplayable.

Dude when i did the submarine thing and went above water, i can promise you it was 5 fps for 2 sec everytime i went above water, it was horrendous.

At night its 25-30 fps, it the only time i can really enjoy it Razz

Huh... that's pretty strange they did would say not to install the 2nd disk on the 360 HD. I thought in every case it gives you quicker loading times, and less texture pop in....etc

I dunno, I guess I'll delete the game files from the 2nd disk off the HD and see if there is any difference... sounds like BS to me though..

Yes but there's already a standard 8GB install from the first disk, so that's likely what the game reads predominantly when it comes to essential data. If you install the second disk as well, then the game has to read from two locations on the same HDD at the same time - which can stall and cause loading issues. Better to load Data A from HDD and Data B from DVD.

Well I haven't done the submarine stuff yet, but even going into the water earlier in the game didn't cause any trouble.
