Personally after watching few videos, the lower framerate is something I could live with, but the low resolution, pop-ins and especially aliasing is something that would annoy me greatly, even if I played from couch on my TV, which is something I don't particularly enjoy.
Gave in and ordered a 360 along with this game. I had also been wanting to play Red Dead Redemption so I bought that too. Just going to resell it all once I'm done with the games, then maybe guy GTA again when it's on sale on PC.

Should have got the GTA V PS3 bundle with the game if it was available in your country because at least then you could have a nice bluray player and the exclusives are better for the most part for that system versus the 360.

They're both worse on PS3, RDR is especially bad on PS3 compared to 360.
Best thing to do if you're going to resell it is to buy used, then you can sell if for just as much (+/- 10% or so)... though GTA V used might be a bit early but RDR + 360 can be found really cheap.

Digital Foundry just posted that the PS3 version is a little better between the two mainly because of the ground textures in their side by side comparison.

I almost went with the PS3 bundle, but one of my reasons for going 360 is because RDR looks better on that console. Also it would've been more expensive, PS3 bundle $269, Xbox 360+GTA V was $239.

Though PS3 has worse framerate, i think most people would prefer better FPS since it's really on the low side already.
yea, even though they say that the framerate difference is slight, in the video you can see that there are quite a few places where ps3 drops to 20 while x360 stays at 30. one particular scene actually runs smoother on ps3 but thats it. all the driving runs a few frames smoother on 360 almost constantly, its definitely the better version imo (fuck slightly sharper ground textures )
