I just went thru the whole performance training to see the changes to controls. I do see what you mean by ping pong passes. It was possible in 2013, now players can't seem to be able to do first touch passes towards all angle, position and footwork can mean a first touch pass or a 2 touch pass. Unfortunately because the person playing game will still try to press pass before the ball is trapped to try to do a first touch, if the player (on the field) couldn't do it, it will automatically do a 2 touch pass. So the outcome will not always be as predictable, which is connected to the whole responsiveness problem to a certain extent I believe.
As for the general responsiveness with passing and shooting, I do feel this iteration is slower than 2013. The ball speed is slower and not very powerful. Just like the previous titles, the dynamic range of the speed of the ball is too narrow. IRL, we can sometimes see floaty, slow shots, but then we will also see absolute thunderbolts. The range of speed IRL is huge, this game can't seem to do it. This can be fixed when gameplay tool comes out though.
However if there is one thing i really like so far is the advance shooting feature. This time it feels like it is a more practical controlled shooting than last year's manual shooting. It is a lot easier to control what kind of shot you want to take and where you want to put it.
Auto-feint is also a brilliant feature. Instead of having to memorize commands like in a fighting game, you can pull of feints through instinct alone. Which I feel is a lot more natural to control. It is also much better than link feints, which was just silly imo.

cant find it either.Maybe we have to wait until the game is released because maybe servers are offline.

official streetdate you moron... why should konami provide a tranfer/roster update if the game isnt out officially? eu tomorrow, us next week
and btw: pc version looks as crappy as 360, even massive slowdowns present on replays and loading (i.e. for goal kick). annoys the crap out of me, no smooth gameplay possible

After training a bit and understanding game mechanics a little bit more, my opinion of the game has changed for the better, altough i wish shooting felt like fifa 14, theres no real sense of power on shots most of the time, or curling.

Well those are ingame screens, but with level of detail on max from replay cams, when the game is on gameplay camera the level of detail is not quite so high.

Something is a little off. I get strange suttering in replays but Fraps reports 150 fps and 500 during gameplay :S

Played about 10 games and after i have earlier tried the fifa 14 demo i would say fifa 14 is way ahead of pes this year. To bad because i hate EA as comapny

PES dont like playing without V-sync, make sure to force it in PES settings.
That was with all the previous games dont think this will be any different.

I can confirm the odd sensation of stuttering. Hopefully it's the kind of performance problem that should be fixed with a patch.
