Yea this game is crude, very crude. The combat is hindered by the terrible animations and poor responsiveness.
Also what is the point of customizing the city? Am I the mayor the city? Why am I putting up random statues in this city with my own resources? Also how on earth can I change what the city's buildings are made of?
The skill tree is boring as hell. I think the "A wide variety of Officer Skills that allow you to create your own unique strategies from a heroic tank to a stealthy ninja" is a lie. There are no stealth skills in the tree, and there are no stealth mode.
The voice acting and dialogues are so bad I couldn't bother to pay attention to it anymore.
One thing I do like however, is the crafting. Very cool idea. But that is all that I find positive about this game.

The 3DM release does not work for me, crashes on main menu or sometimes i get just black screen.
Perhaps try to edit Settings.ini in the game folder and see if anything needs changing?
I didn't find a way to configure the game from the launcher (Which is altered by 3DM it seems.) so I edited the file directly but all I had to do was change fullscreen to off and set resolution to the desired 1440x900 I use for windowed mode.

Tried changing some things, but still wont work... Getting error box with OK button and it says:
Fatal error in gc
DuplicateHandle failed
EDIT: oh wait, it has something to do with Avast antivirus + Unity engine, need to check out solution
Perhaps it's that somewhat common problem with the AV solution blocking the crack from properly injecting it's code to the game?
(Triggered as a generic Trojan attempt usually, nearly always false positive but make sure to download from a good source to avoid possible real viruses and such stuff, pretty common info really but there's still a lot of people whom get issues with that, like these recent Bitcoin miners.)

Played the first mission and the combat is weird, animations too,gfx wise it's not totally bad,but outdated.
Missions are handled like in some mmo game or so it seemed...it looked like the city was a mission hub where you and your friends get quests and embark onwards.
Felt and looked cheap...and apparently is too from what I read.
