You got it wrong:P
the eye doesn't detect changing frames from 27+, 30 or 80 is still a big difference..

upstart can u play SA with 25fps it will look jaggy & draw distance will be like crap, cars will pop up every sec lol,btw it works fine for me with cat 4.12 with everything maxed exept FX on 1280* i got stable 35/40 fps max 60;everything above is made for X8** cards i mean drivers, simply they made u to make an upgrade thats all & that how it works ,marketing bro no more no less,4.12 still best driver for HL2 & CSS for 9*** series, thats why i want to switch to 6800 cause most of the game optimized for new nVidia cards

ROFL.....

Black & White 2
UFO Aftershock
F.E.A.R.
Serious Sam 2
Prey
Quake IV
Blitzkrieg II
Call Of Duty 2
X3 Reuinon
Vietcong 2
Civilization IV
Age Of Empires III
Starship Troopers
Star Wars Battlefront II ..........

You guys sound soooo excited! Too bad none of these games will be cracked. Yea some will be clone's that can be burned or damon tools mounted. But the others will be starforce, or securom 7 which will require read only drives, or installing some lame antiblaxx that will cripple your daemon tools.

So, right then, Yippe-yahooo bring 'em on.

Better hope the rumors of DT4 comming out in october is acurate, i know i am!

P.S. I guess there will be some games cracked, like these fine releases, whats there protection again...ummmm.....uhhh..... oh yea, NOTHING!

Dungeon Lords
Bratz Activity Centre
Bratz Rock Angelz
My Little Pony Activity Centre
My Scene Goes To Hollywood
Barbie And The Magic Of Pegasus

I think we'll see cracks of all the big games and the clones will sub for the ones that dont get crack...Im sure Dev will come through with 2 or 3 releases, rld like 2, nogrp 2 and maybe Ultima will make a return to crack a super hard sf title for us Very Happy

And theres a simple reg trick for securom 7 for daemon or some emu program, search for it on the daemon tools forums, think i read it on there

He has a in your face way of saying it but I agree with him, you dont know whether or not the games wont be cracked, its all just speculation.

Dev's and publishers know about the backlash from using protections like starforce, and they also know that it doesnt make a significant difference when considering the amount of games sold in comparison to other games that didnt utilize starforce protection. At this stage using such a protection is more a risk then a benefit, so I wouldnt bet on all the big new games using it. The best protection today is still CD-Keys with online authorization, starforce doesnt have shit on that, and thats not likely to change anytime soon.

Yea hes 'in your face' allright.

My original post was out of frustration, i was just being cynical expressing my opinion. I know they wont all be starforce or securom 7 games. What im hoping for is DT4 will come to the rescue.

I truly would like to see F.E.A.R
SS2
COD2
VC2
and Battle Front 2 Razz

$ilent$uicide your original post was out of frustration? So was mine, so deal with it

I can't believe that Quake IV is coming this month, has anyone else got the feeling that nowadays games EITHER;
1. Take alot less time to complete.
2. Dont get completed, but gets released anyway.
3. Doesnt get officially announced with screenshots etc until a few months before release.

It is one of those options, i'm guessing a combination of them all, since we all have heard of so many games who have been in production ever since the original, just look at Unreal, before Unreal engine 3 is used in games they already are full at work (almost) with Unreal engine 4!!
Also who can count the number of Beta's that have been packed in a box and sold as a completed product? Wink
And last, Quake IV, they could surely have had some screens in like febuary, and maby all of this is because i'm loosing my up-to-date grip, but the first time i saw Quake IV screenshots was just like 2 months ago, and now its already getting released this fall. I hope you get my point Razz

5 years ago you looked at screenshots and features of the games you waited for, and you had to wait for 2 years for that very same game without any real changes.
Today you see screenshots and features, and often the same game is released within a year!

Ehm no pallebrun, but then its something wrong with their systems, not with the game.
If noone at all can run a game playably with a certain gfx card, then its because of the game.
If some people can run a game playably with a certain gfx card, then its because of the people.
Either due to the drivers or because 99.95% of all gamers have utterly piss-poor crap non-optimized computers. Fact.

i played today FEAR again appears i had beta so dlded oficcial singleplayer & it works ok but not as good as i wanted to be,my system is stable enough 24/7,i'm saying again ati still has bad software support & always will till some1 realy decides to do his work thats why i switching to 6800LE@GT & will keep with it till they screwe up too

I fully understand how it works Baleur.

I was just saying that what he think is fine might not be fine for someone else. You can never judge what others think based on your own 'fine-level'. And it has nothing to do with buggy games, bad system etc etc, it's just a mather of what YOU think is fine.
I can tell you right away that a 9200 would not in any way be fine for me. Wink

On another note, my 9800pro have no problems at all with FEAR, as long as the settings are kept at medium and a decent resolution.

pallebrun thats exactly the same thing, you claiming that you have no problems at all with FEAR on your 9800pro, its just your opinion, maby its not fine at all for you, just that you are not so picky.

See? That arguement doesnt hold, there is a clear defenition of "fine" and "unplayable", believe me. The word opinion is way overrated, some things when pushed to extremes have nothing to do with opinions.

If a majority of the people having a 9200 cant play this game, as in less than 15fps, since that is a clearly not enjoyable fps rate, since they say that they cant play it, not that they get slowdowns, they cant play it. Period, and then another dude with a 9200 says that he can play it FINE, there clearly is a 10-20 fps difference, and it is a real issue, not a simple opinion based issue.
