If you liked Crysis 2 that says enough really. Crysis 2 was a regression from the original in many ways.
You also did not understand me correctly: I did not say I give even half a shit what a journalists THINKS of a game. They did however confirm the FACTS that what they got to play was almost exclusively QTE and that you cannot fail the QTEs. That has nothing to do with their opinion, those are just facts sadly.
As for your last "argument": bit of a difference. Both of those are all about the story, the setting and the atmosphere. This does not seem to have HR's atmosphere and unlike TWD, it's not made by an indie developer who've only recently grown to be a 125-person company. Neither of those games also even attempts to display large-scale combat, which is all CryTek are pushing for with Ryse.
I`m kinda wondering who is actualy having a argument here, all I said was *in random* wait till the final game is out and play it and then judge it.

Kinda wondering what U wanting to say here
Again as long as a video game gives me the fun by playing it and the pleasure I have after I finished it then its fine by me, I kinda wondering whats wrong with that.
O btw when I play a part 2 of a game I never ever compare a game to the first one, sometimes its better sometimes not all I can do is say part 1 of ...... was better but to say part 2 of Crysis was bad no I wouldnt say that cause the game was good maybe not as good as part 1 but it was good.
An argument as in an argument to defend your position, not as in a fight
I'm not arguing anything, you're the one who went "OMG PLAY FIRST" when all I said was that they've shown nothing that would warrant giving them the benefit of the doubt yet. I'm sorry, but you can tell a *lot* about a game by just looking at what developers decide to showcase and most importantly, how they speak about it. The one exception so far for me has been DX:HR.
I won't get into C2, if you liked it that's fine. I'll just leave it at "it wasn't worth 60 Euros" (which for me means: fuck it ).
Edit in before anyone gets any funny ideas -> All of the above? I M O.
I dont need to defend myself specialy since I cant cause I havent played the game yet, its quite normal that when people have judgements over something while they didnt play the game itself shouldnt judge at all so my answer by saying PLAY IT FIRST then judge is quite normal.
You come with statements from game journalist who prolly played like 15 min of this game how it is, while its then better to either wait for a full review or judge yourself how you expirianced the game.
About Crysis 2, I paid prolly the same as you did wich is one blank verbatim and it was worth it.
Anyhow Im going to wait and see the reviews first about this game or hopefully a demo first.
Yea, at least the combat dev diary indicates that its not going to be only QTE action, though I do wish the game was more open-worldish/allowed for a bit of exploration.
EDIT: new video up, i must say it looks atleast pretty good (badass)
fogive me Ive not been on the radar of ryse much & now I watched this video on mute (because I had my headphones plugged into another system) didn't listen to any of the commentary & the gameplay video if was it open world like skyrim & played similar too looked quite good for a day 1 release But if its just a corridor hack & slash title im not impressed at all, personally I think the gameplay is going to be big cut scene after another with some qte hack & slash gameplay,I feel looks good but very repetitive gameplay which will get boring very once you get used to the visuals
no, just no.
the flow is bad, the animations are bad, it would be acceptable for an early ps2 game, and then there are the unnecessary qtes all over the place. i got bored of the game after less than a minute of that video.

Watch this video, watch the flow
eh, even there the animations dont have a natural flow like a batman game, but its and improvement.
that's just 2 mins on GT is 5mins...anyway love the setting I said that earlier but gp is not that good , game needs more brutality and better executions too.
I spent two hours with the Xbox One title, but it felt like I was entering random numbers into a computer rather than actually playing a video game.
It’s clear what Microsoft and developer Crytek are shooting for here. At launch, they want a big budget, epic action game that clearly demonstrates next-gen visuals. Ryse is undeniably pretty, but that’s about all it had going for it in this demo. After a painfully generic story intro, the game began teaching me similarly uninspired combat mechanics. While it tries to sound like an in-depth action game with familiar elements like perfectly-timed blocks and focus meters, the actual experience is anything but deep.
